If anyone else is bothered by the white(or whatever middle color you chose) showing through your stem(green), I found a way to hide it. After you're done with the first layer of white(middle color you chose) and have slip stichted into the stem, you're going to want to chain 3 (instead of slip stitching into the green) and double crochet 2 into that circle just like before and continue like normal. It took me 6 squares to discover this I was trying out different ways and this looks the cleanest without having to go back In with green attempting to hide it. It makes it look bulkier. This patter was awesome and I'm grateful you made it available for all. Thank you and awesome work!!!🥰🥰💖💖

These are so cute! I love the face but I don't like seeing the mess of the stitches in the back especially if this is used for a blanket . I will probably not do faces .. thank you !
You can weave your ends in and make it neat.

Just saying, You can hide your ends between the stitches so they don’t show. There are several videos on how to do this.
