Thrilling, mesmerizing. Beautiful! Windgassen is a benchmark. His voice is much clearer than Kaufman’s, who muffles/darkens more. Which makes Windgassens German supremely understandable. This is the real Wagner singing...... I just listened to the glottal voice of Kaufmann... what a difference this is.
