We’ve just bought a shed to store our bits and pieces in when we’re not using them. We bought some rodent proof mesh to protect it before we put anything in as I’ve seen so many stories of people finding holes chewed by mices in their awnings.
Hello Mark, we are new subsribers from france and yes we use our caravan all year round and yes we are going away from the 26 th of décember to the 5 th of january. It s a bit more dificult to find some campsite open in the winter in France. Thank you for the vidéos. 🇨🇵
Decided to put ours to bed for winter…. Full breathable cover put on ours today…great being on the drive as can keep an eye on it….turn the battery charger on and off over the next few months to keep the battery in good condition…took your advice and left 3 windows on breather setting 😀😀
@@thecaravanplace we’ve also put in two moisture capture devices and a oiled filled radiator to hold a 8-9 degrees temperature during periods like now of snowy/frosty weather periods 😀😀
Hi Mark, another fantastic video; particularly love the multi-purpose gas cylinder. Christmas will be at home with the family and then we're off to Brixham CaMC to see in the new year.
You’ve not mentioned about camping and caravan club District Associations meets that are often planned over the festive season. Sometimes they’re attached to a site, sometimes just off grid. Some sort of entertainment is usually planned in and the prices are far cheaper than going to a commercial site.
We are going away 25 Nov to the 29 Nov ., to the Lincs coast, Been invited out over Xmas so only booked two days ago. Was kinda hopeing for a bit of frost and sunshine
We are going for 4 days at Stretton Lakes in Rutland over Christmas. (Adult only, quiet, fully serviced). We were there last Christmas and have a little 2 berth.

Gas cylinder, I never saw any gas cylinder? I did notice a step in camouflage, dressed as a gas bottle 😅
