This team are projected for next year SEA GAMES and upcoming U23 AFC. Glad to see all the 🇲🇨 levels competition this year. Overalls, Indonesia shows progress for the national team. Personally, I don't expect Indonesia to win this tournament, i just wanna see them developing through the games (since the tight schedule affect the recovery) and happy with some potential players for future.

I agree that it was not an exciting match, and a lot of people have been complaining about how our players have been performing at the 2024 ASEAN Championship. While I agree they haven’t been at their best, I still want to appreciate their efforts last night. Despite losing to Vietnam 0-1, we saw clear improvements compared to their last two matches, which were admittedly rough. These boys are still young and full of potential. Like I always say, we don’t expect the Young Garudas to win the tournament, but we do want to see them play well-and last night, we got a glimpse of that. Keep growing, boys! I also want to show appreciation to the Vietnamese team. They’re much more experienced, and it showed in how they dominated the match. Their quality gave our players invaluable experience in a competitive international setting. I know netizens from both countries sometimes clash online, but on the field, the players showed respect and sportsmanship despite the intensity of the game. Yeah all of you guys are absolutely right. It was a brave decision by coach STY to field a young squad that could be said to be Grade C in this AFF competition. Even in the match against the senior Vietnam team yesterday, Marselino could not play because of a suspended red card and Arhan was also not a starter, making the grade a Grade C-, Arhan entered the field only in the 2nd half and the Indonesian national team lasted more than 70 minutes without conceding a goal. But in my opinion, the decision to field a squad like this is a gamble to train the young squad of the Indonesian national team in the international competition arena. Let me remind you in previous matches: Indonesia (U22) vs Vietnam (Senior) AFF : 0:1 Indonesia (U23) vs Vietnam (Senior) AFC : 1:0 Indonesia (Senior) vs Vietnam (Senior) WCQ : 3:0😊 This proves that there is a classification of Indonesia player squads that are formed and trained for the future. ✊🇮🇩

Sadly for Indonesia, we are not allow to have dual nationality like other countries for example marten paes has to surrender the dutch nationality and only have 1 passport which is Indonesia so actually it's not easy for them and we appreciate their sacrifice for Indonesia.

most of the team is ex world cup U20 team 2022 in indonesia later postponed due to covid. and later postpone for the second time due rejection of the israel team play in indonesia . then FIFA switch indonesia as host for world cup U17 2023. team allready played in mini world cup 2022 and 2024 in toulon. agains big nation like french. and played in AFC Asia U20 2023 with the finalist irak and uzbekistan. . enough to say this team quite have the experience in international match. in toulon 2022 they play again venezuela U23. french U20 and slovakia U20. basically that tournament is shaping indonesia team in AFC asia U23 and AFC Asia senior 2024. in toulon mini world cup 2024 they played agains japan u19, itali u23, some of the older player also play in mini world cup u20 toulon 2018 and beat ghana. lost by 0-1 to brazil u20. and just recently the U20 ( for the next AFC asia U20) team also beat argentina U20 by 2-1 in seoul.
So become host of world cup U20.really benefit Indonesia development a lot.

Saya kecewa dengan negara saya 🇮🇩 karena tidak berminat menjuarai turnamen ini padahal tidak pernah juara. Lebih kecewa lagi negara saya menghina dan merendahkan turnamen ini tapi mereka masih ikut turnamen.
Lalu apa alasan mereka ikut turnamen ini ?... Ini yang disebut KEKACAUAN BERPIKIR bangsa saya sendiri. Mereka beralasan memberi pengalaman bertanding usia U22 nyatanya rata-rata Usia mereka 20,3 tahun dan jika disebut U22 ada pemain senior usia di atas 25 tahun. Mereka juga beralasan memberi kesempatan pemain lokal ternyata mereka memainkan pemain abroad dari oxford dan brisbane roar bahkan berupaya memanggil pemain dari ultrecht dan wolves. Apa ini ?...tak ada yang bisa jelaskan dengan pasti. Inilah yang disebut dengan KEKACAUAN BERPIKIR
