Ashe's arrow hitbox is, you guess it, a circle! Honestly, I have no idea why its hitbox is still a circle when they have arrow shaped projectiles in the game now, but that means that its side hitbox is larger than its visual hitbox
Simple, spheres and capsules are the BEST colliders for hitbox in development. They reduce performance issues by a metric ton, especially spheres. Same applies to champions' models. most of them are cylinders, capsules, spheres, or a combination of those. The reason some hitboxes may be 2D circles is simply because it beats ALL 3D collision models (or hitboxes, if you'd like), because it is literally one less entire dimension to take into consideration
Champs used to be squares for some reason. That's how you could hook the corner of the square in a wave as blitz. I used to hook people through waves every game for a free lane until that changed and they made hook a lollipop making maxed ranged hooks less precise.
Hullbreaker is a tumorous item, if your top laner goes around to j off your entire top side disappears. It doubles up the map pressure and on some champions is just aggravating to see strats like int Sion carry games, going 3/14 without getting punished for inting so viscously.

Also her R hit box is is towards the end of the arrow. So you can flash it even though the arrow point is already clipping your champ model.
