It's to secure early game. With lethal tempo you're allowed to fist fight a lot more early on and win. Once you get bork, you roll him either way so it doesn't matter at that point. I do personally prefer conqueror for this matchup though.
No shit, I did double soak and hit 71% winrate in challenger (excluding games before chal). You can even triple soak on some champs (get minions in top, mid and botlane)

Yeah lethal tempo gets destroyed by tabis, however aatrox went cancer bramble first which would've countered conq too so it doesn't really matter
