I use the mic TONOR TD510+ (dynamic mic with USB and XLR from Amazon) with my HL2, looks like a similar (same?) model like in your video, hi. After my all tests I can say, dynamic mics are the better choice as condenser mics.

Very glad to see your video and look forward to seeing upcoming ones!
The Hermes Lite 2 is very interesting. I did a load of investigation
a few weeks ago, especially about running it with a Linux front-end,
(pretty much essential for me) and whilst it sounds like this is not
available at the moment I'm hopeful this will become possible, given
the project's origins.
