Its true! it is a magnificent movie! when I started watching it I could not stop, It's sooo easy to become fully invested in it from the characters, to the story. If you like Akria Kurosawa, check out some of his work that was inspired by the plays of William Shakespeare. "Throne of Blood" in particular is AWESOME! (It was based on the tragedy play "MacBeth").

Kurosawa's ultimate masterpiece and the Magnificent Seven with Steve Mc Queen, Yule Brenner, and Charles Bronson was based on it. Not to mention Sergio Leone's string of "Spighetti" westerns starring a little known actor at the time name Clint Eastwood, patterned after the main character in "Yojimbo" . And the ultimate irony is the fact the Kurosawa himself actually based much of his own work on the "American Western" genre.
Honestly, the quality of this movie is unmatched. I believe this is one of the greatest movies ever made.
