I love this effect and wish I had the money to get it but I can’t help but think that in this modern era, when you have something so seemingly impossible that you just assume that it’s electronics that are telling the performer what is going on. At least that’s my take on it…… but I still can’t help but want it lol!

180 bucks is a lot of money, but considering the size of the prop and how good it looks, and it's a 100% hit each time, I'm actually surprised it doesn't cost more!

Thanks David. Are the balls delicate? Are the batteries replaceable?What are the balls made out of? Rubber, cue ball material, hollow?
Sounds like it may take strong audience management. You're al far away. What is an indecisive or evil person "accidentally" changes the order while making a choice.
I've been considering so what ever light you can shed is appreciated.
balls feel heavy like pool balls, batteries are replaceable - the trick isn't about the "order of the balls" they can be in any order. You are notified only when the black ball leaves or returns to the box
@@magicorthodoxy thanks. Could a spectator damage the trick if they are careless and drop the ball. (I drop everything. Since I was a kid. I can't explain it.) I'm afraid my soulmate would be helping.
@@chaddavis1 The balls are very durable. Dropping them will not be harmful to the trick itself.

can the balls really get mixed directly by the spectator [5:04]? I thought because of the construction you can see [6:55] this is fixed. If I can get the balls mixed before they get chosen from the five people, this would be great. Second thing: can the spectator put it back, if he changes mind and take another and the "signal" will work again by the next spactator who takes the black one....
the balls can be mixed - the box only tracks the black ball leaving and returning not in which slot it is in. But it doesn't matter which slot it ends up in

I have mind ball, would you say that this would be a waste of money? it's the same concept except you can tell what color is selected without looking. Have you done mind ball? can you compare them? I am just debating if it's worth having both

@magicorthodoxy ahhh ok. It is the same concept as this, but it's 5 colors. When one color is picked up, you know what color was removed. So sounds like the same thing, just this one only tracks the one black ball, and not all 5

Not sure how one can get through a "review" of this idea with even mentioning Max. There are a plethora of books on this so electronics aren't needed, although less thought work needed for this.
Just not sure why some of the other similar props, including some offering multiple colors, weren't benchmarked against this one.
There are reasons Max went with a bag and I would be concerned the presence of the box draws suspicion to the working bits.
Also not sure who would buy something like this that doesn't connect to peeksmith or Inject and the like - or does it play nice with all those kinds of devices?

This doesn't seem deceptive to me. Who has a black box with five balls that exactly fit in it? The case has to be part of the secret. Everyone knows about electronic devices today. The many versions with a cloth bag and marbles would be much more deptive.
