Hello, I'm new to your channel! Really enjoyed your video! We used to have a dairy here in southern Oklahoma in Johnston County and our dairy was different than what yours is. Dickerson Dairy was started 1980 and my Mom sold it in 1988 after Daddy passed away from cancer on December 22,1987. We had glass jars at every stall and and one out on the wall in the milk room and a huge milk tank. I miss our dairy! Looking forward to your next video.
That's an awesome tour thank you so much for taking me along I'm a new subscriber your channel rocks keep up the hard work are you always want to thank a farmer thank you thank you I sure do love milk and curd cheese looking forward to seeing more take care God bless
I have heard of that type gutter cleaner. First time I saw it! We had Badger here, and Patz in the other farm we were on for a bit. And only 1 14x45 Silo. All gone. 1996
That was an awesome tour of the barns Adam you explained every thing so well from start to finish Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Thank you! Our main goal is to build a free stall barn and put in a robot milking system for our herd. Possibly a robotic feeding system too. We figure it will boost milk production and really improve cow comfort. You were a very big inspiration to me to start my channel! I watch every single one of your videos, love following along with your new robotic feeding project.
@@lyonsfamilyfarms-fh5zz That would definitely be an upgrade for you guys. Comes at a big cost but I think you would see better performance out of the cows. Definitely a lot of decisions to make with a project like that. Glad to hear you enjoy my channel. Gonna be an interesting year getting this robot set up, hopefully it works like we are planning.
@@10thgenerationdairyman figure it will make our job more efficient if 2 guys are not having to spend 3 hours everyday milking and feeding. Definitely lots of decisions. Can’t wait to see your robot in action.
Can you show the barn (ditch) cleaner more in depth? Or in action? I understand the concept but have never seen one like that for a tie stall or stanchion barn. Keep up the good work
It might sound dumb but I would like to see those trench cleaners at work. I have the chain go around the barn style and have heard of those but have never seen one run. Thanks and have a good day

Sorry to hear it’s gone, I plan on going over the ditch cleaners more in-depth soon
What is that thing on top of the cow, what is its function, what is it used for? From Spain

Nice video buddy and I remember that barn when I was younger too
Nice setup. Did you say you are considering a free stall barn?

Great video, couple questions, how many wells do you have for the cattle and do you have a "back up" vacuum pump? Keep up the great work!
One well runs it all and we have a back up motor for the pump but not a whole pump

Sure I can get some video of that!
I like the tie stall system. More individual care of animals. Make old work, be careful of improvement that don't pay anyone but bankers
another great video
Thanks!

I plan on making a video on them
Excellent job bro
Thanks!
We have the AIC take offs as well. LOVE THEM
They are pretty sweet
I don't know if I have ever seen a tie stall with the cows facing the middle
There’s not to many like it
How many dry cows on average do you have for a 60 cow farm
Around 8-12
Are you in Berks County?

Hey man watch up
