Yo thanks for this upload, I just finished watching Ep 2 of The Exodite and there's a scene with some XV8s that sounded just like DoW barks and this video has helped me confirm that they did in fact used DoW lines for them
Actually they can't. Apparently they were originally supposed to, but then they decided not to, so they removed that, but left the quotes in the files.
Guess they suppose to be elite infantry unit like Kasrkins or Grey knights, but Tau already was too heavy on infantry and they need light mec/support like Sentinels

It's a shame that drones can't repair broadsides and crisis teams.
Maybe because they count as infantry rather than walkers/vehicles, at least in the tabletop.

Never really played much but why couldn’t they fly ? Is there something you got to do.
They really couldn't fly, they could jump over long distances.
