If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

Is that the Asuka that defeated Gobou 2-0 in a mirror match using test case 2? I saw a comment about him somewhere on this channel, but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, him or not, I'm now That man's number 1 fan. He's not using test case 2: he's using ALL of them. THAT's the kind of gameplay I wanted to see from an Asuka player since the day he came out. Not only that, but, unlike other Asukas, he actually tries to interact with his opponent: he has visible gaps in his blockstring (in which opponent can mash, jump and get CH or get hit respectively); he has high/low strike/throw mixups; some actual buttons presses except spells whenever he sees fit (0:09 2:10 (fuzzy jump catch) 9:51); overall not bad understanding and usage of game fundamentals.
When I decide to play Asuka, I'll strive to play like him one day.

he's one of the best players in SEA, used to be a Chipp/HC player, he sent samitto to losers bracket in rev major philippines last year, really good player.
@Nascenting: I presume you're speaking of one of my last posts; it should still be up, but I haven't been posting all that much after a some-what embarrassing observation someone had pointed out... but to answer your question, no, this is not the same Asuka player that defeated Gobou in the Asuka mirror match 2-0 - that was an Asuka user named コメコメ, and he also goes by other names, but most notably surumaiden. They are a very strong Case 2 user, that goes from a very defensive to aggressive playstyle, and they have incredibly strong fundamentals.
Psychrosis is a strong Asuka player, but they're not a Case 2 user - I've watched them at Rev Major (a Philippines AWT qualifier last year), and they only used Case 3 - we don't count Case 1, because every Asuka user starts at Case 1. Moreover, I think what happened here is that Psychrosis changed to Case 2 by mistake, and just had to continue the round with it, because it was too dangerous to switch to another Test Case; it happens to Gobou sometimes with Case 2 - I don't use Case 3, and it sometimes happens to me as well. Further, I'm happy that you appear to want to play Asuka - he's a fun, but yet challenging character - please give him a try when you get the chance.
Also, Asia appears to have a monopoly in regard to strong Asuka players, so if you want to get good with the character, watching Asuka users from Asia is the way to go. According to
Daru_I-No, the best Asuka players are from (in order): *Japan, Philippines, EU/NA*
Now I do want to point out that this is on average - there are two other strong Asuka players: MaoKing from China, and Chocoservant from Korea - so, my personal top 6 Asuka players are (in order): *Gobou>Gesui>コメコメ>MaoKing>Chocoservant>トマト/Psychrosis*
Zando is good, but he is not innovative like these other Asuka users above, and he does not know Asuka's character as well as the above players - although he is probably a better player than some of them overall.

I don't think I'm going to learn Asuka very soon (considering I'm a Ky player that still has yet to embrace the depths of his gameplay), but when I do, using test case 2 surely will be main gameplan (if not using all of them depending on the matchup and my opponent). Does anyone know why rating update has been down for so long? I get that it’s common for it to not work after updates but it’s been weeks.
