If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

This is a very fair statement.
My apologies if this appears to be a bit rude, but would you rather watch the best player on a character, or other players that are so far behind, that it looks like they're using a different character..? This has always been the case with Asuka, and that is why he is the most-featured Asuka player on this channel. Gobou is noticeably better with Asuka than any other Asuka player to this day.

My apologies for bringing up this trivial detail; but, after all this time of watching GGST videos featuring these characters - the reality has set in, and I realize that 飛鳥 R. Kreutz has the rooted meaning of *"Flying bird R. Cross,"* and there is actually a character in this game with an alias of *"Sol-Badguy"* - I have no idea how Daisuke Ishiwatari even came up with these... creative names, but I guess that's part of what give Guilty Gear its charm...

This is in reference to the special stream Gobou broadcasted for Asuka's 1st birthday/1-year anniversary since his initial release, and Gobou's commitment to carry on using Asuka - despite the fact that he's a difficult character (for a myriad of reasons, not just to operate) - even for an 18-year GG veteran.
Unfortunately, Gobou's Asuka will not be as prevalent due to the fact that Gobou has more fun on A.B.A, along with the fact that she covers almost all of Asuka tough match-ups - the only character Gobou does not want to use A.B.A against, is Chaos, and perhaps Johnny. Moreover, with as much as a threat Leo currently is, I believe that Gobou wants a character that performs very well against it, like A.B.A; as Gobou stated that in season 2, Asuka had a comfortable advantage against Leo - but with the nerfs to the cube speed in season 3, in conjunction with Leo's buffs, Asuka appears to have lost that advantage - due to the fact that Leo appears to have benefited more than just about any other character from Asuka's nerfs (according to Gobou and Tempest) - well, perhaps aside from Nago...
In addition to that, it appears that Gobou feels that an Asuka nerf is imminent - as he tends to mention that his motivation for GGST may go up or down depending on the patch notes of the next balance patch; and in Japan, Gobou's Asuka has done nothing but gained notoriety - as his performance against MiguMigu (the 40-second blockstring) at EVO Japan has even piqued the interest of the world-famous SF player Haitani, who had a video piece with over 100k views regarding Gobou's Asuka, and some details about Asuka's character - he did (as well as the whole comment section) mention that Asuka is hard to play - but ASW does not necessarily factor that into nerfs/buffs...
In conclusion, Asuka may be Gobou's secondary - but he will _always_ be the strongest/best Asuka player in the world - if he were to drop the character, the same statement would still apply; think of it like a world record that has yet to be broken - even if the athlete retires, if nobody was able to reach/exceed their record, then they are/were still the best at said sport - the same is true with Gobou's Asuka; I am convinced that nobody will ever be on his level with this character - imitating will only get players so far - as the innovator is generally always the one on top.

@@johncrq3594I don't play Case 3, but I know that Gobou feels that the Recycler spell is useless for the most part. Also, the skipping of certain spells during Harmonic Boost is another factor that separates Gobou from other Asuka players, because he chooses spells that will benefit him in the long term - not just at the moment. For example, if Gobou is trying to bait out a YRC, he'll typically bookmark or keep a teleport spell on hand, along with several cube spells; if he needs to recover resources, then you will see Bit Metron, Tardus, and Arpeggio spells drawn; if he wants to win the round by solitaire-ing the opponent, then he will look for staffs, Bit Metron, and guard break spells - it honestly comes down to what the current situation is really...

@@memermancer I know the broad strokes of his kit, playstyle, and gimmicks,. I just cannot imagine legitimately thinking about and managing that during a match.

@ccookiez. Gobou stated that Case 2 is arguably the most difficult Test Case, due to the fact that it is not considered strong and the number of interactions you have to win. Therefore, the execution, situational awareness, and skill needed to play Case 2 effectively remains the same, if not greater than Case 3 - whereas, the bar for Case 1 is the lowest... my apologies if that is not what you were referring to.
Meta is the main set of characters for the game, the most effective for winning. I forgot to mention that the meta can changes over time due to balance changes and new heroes, but .... in Strive, everything is stable, with the few exception. 3 years, 3 seasons... Same cheapest zoo and broken autopilot spam.
