Leffen is the first player in these High Level Gameplay videos that I've seen trying to utilize the c.S > dash kara cancel keygrab to stay close, which is really cool. Very surprised to see him ending block strings in normal mode with 5H though when 2H will reach. Not sure if that's simply a mistake though.
ik leffen was cryin on the inside tryna get in on bridget without jealousy mode. Bridgets annoyinn asll if u dont got a good matchup with them. very brainrotting, soul crushing experience
I know ABA isn't considered too great by a lot of players, but as a (novice) Bridget main, I find her absolutely terrifying. Once she lands a hit, you might as well just stand up and stretch because that round is lost.
So i have been watching this channel for while, i come from a street fighter background. Can someone explain the story of leffen and why he gets so much hate lol.
He comes from the smash community and there he is considered a “man-baby” blaming losses on stupid things, saying the best character in the game has losing match ups to whoever beats him that week, and demanding rule changes when he loses. He brought this attitude to strive complaining about Arcsys nerfing harder characters, “tier-whoring” (he played Zato-1 season 1 and then Happy Chaos up until the nerd), and now has been going between characters trying to find a new main. I personally am indifferent to him at this point, but it is fun to watch the discourse.
I played smash for a while and he just has a very sour attitude which makes people dislike him (including me, but really cuz some of his takes are hot garbage.) Idk about in Guilty Gear, I'm fairly new and I've been watching some of his videos on strive since he seems like a very good A.B.A player.
@@chefkennyeats Good analogy but Leffen is even more infamous than Punk. He was pretty much considered the “villain” of the Smash scene because of his toxic behavior. Just to give an idea, years ago he tried to bullshit a movement to ban Jigglypuff from Smash Melee. Even though Puff isn’t considered the best character in the game and also has a small playerbase for a top tier. He only did that because he hated Hungrybox (the best Puff player in the world) and losing to him. His braindead fans then started to hate on Hungrybox for essentially no reason. This culminated on an incident where someone in a crowd threw a literal crab at Hungrybox when he won a tournament with Puff. Even though Leffen isn’t directly responsible for this, it’s an example of how he can act like a crybaby and some people will defend him no matter what. He’s undeniably an excellent player, but also a manchild that loves to cause drama to get attention.
Daisuke absolutely cooked when he wrote Bridget's story, but he burned the fucking kitchen when he made the fucking war crime that is this god-forsaken character in-game.

If you do another move that doesn't hit the opponent prior to breaking the wall (Yoyo Toss, Minion Recall, Mirazh, Fukyo, etc...), you can gain a little extra meter. It's just an optimization thing.
@@duckiedale6550 He didn't say he was a "goat", they just said that the guy, as a player, is better than most of the playerbase for the game. Her being so squishy and having low DMG contributes immensely to her brain rotting play-style.
