I love reading the book of Mormon because I feel the Holy Spirit when I do. I'm inspired by the great men who love our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ so much, like Nephi, Abinadi and Captain Moroni.

This was such a great video, and really helps to realize that Lehi's family were real people who were commanded by God to depart Jerusalem, and sail to the promised land, (The Americas). It sure felt like it brought the Book of Mormon to life and helps those who are visual learners to better feel the spirit of the Book of Mormon. I hope they continue to make the rest of the like this, although it would be a bit difficult when they get to the book of Alma. There is so much in the book of Alma, that they would have to do several videos.

Why do all these movie makers insist on using the "thees" and "thous" which makes the actors' jobs much more difficult? It's a stilted language and you _may_ pull it off if you're a Shakespearean actor and you have a good director. Sadly, these BofM videos have neither. They sound as though they're reading lines without their glasses. I wish someone would make a decent BofM movie with modern language. They also spend too much time using lines right out of the BofM. That's no way to make a movie.
It's great for kids, though.
Yes, it is the way to make an authentic reproduction of the lives of the Book of Mormon people, by using their language, the way they talked !. Heavenly Father wants us to talk to him like that too in our prayers to him. Any problem with that ?

This book is about the northern tribe of Israel the so called blacks
Lehi was not a jew...hence, he did not have facial hair.
We do not know if Lehi had facial hsir, or not. We also DO NOT know if God, the Father, and Jesus Christ had any particular length of hair, or any facial hair, because the Prophet Smith Jr. did not describe that particular part of either of them/ the two separate, individual, male Resurrected Beings that did appear to/appeared to him. I believe that it is because Christ wants us to recognize him in the way he talks and teaches us through his scriptures and Apostles and Prophets, as he did when as a newly Resurrected person/Being, as is written and recorded in the New Testament, that he walked and talked with two of his original Twelve Apostles, who Didn't recognize him as he, himself, Jesus Christ, because of his now/then 'perfected' physical appearance, but the way he talked with them, seemed so familiar to them, that after he had walked away from them (and which they had wondered whether they should have recognized him at the time), that he, Christ Jesus, then went, i believe, to prepare for their Priesthood meeting, that He would then have with them later on that day/evening, and accompanied by all their wives, the same as they, the Prophet's and Apostle's wives now can be invited to be present today, in gatherings with their husbands, in these Latter Days.
