Love this video and song. It grows on me everytime I listen to it. Funny you said "What in the finding Nemo is going on" Hahahaha Now I will recommend their song Nemo, live at Wacken 2013
Nightwish dont dissapoint "did you feel the ghost energy song" I listened to this song many many times by now, and it is one i like to listen to with my headphones or without, its really a good song, when i can do so to me. Some say Floors voice is low in the mix, and i can agree its hard to get all words she sing, but if you look at it soundwise it sounds amazing!! and after a listen or 2, you know most of lyrics, and its no problem at all, its done fully on purpose for the sound experince of it, and Floor being part of the ancestor choir.. cant wait for rest of album!! Yesterwynde is the opening track on new album, i belive its only like a intro, its a little over 2 min long, #2 on album then is a almost 10 min song, thats proberly another epic!! #3 is where i think they bring in a heavy track, and this Perfume of the timeless is #5.. so i think its gonna be a good mix of heavy songs, Epics, and maybe a full balled.. Perfume of the timeless, well its almonst a ghost energy song right, telling all these ancestors is around in a timeless world, being around you still, and yourvthe perfume, also a message that your existens matters!! i feel tuomas also put in a little message that mankind could do better still, Einstein turn to ape.. The title of the album is a word made by band member Troy Donockley, which Holopainen describes as the feeling of time, history, memory, and being connected to past generation, who have "all had their lives, their ups and downs, and they don't exist anymore, except as atoms scattered all over the universe. And we're going to be in that state pretty soon as well. So that should give you something to think about." Holopainen has described the album as being about humanism, history, and the inspiration thereof, and that outlook of the album is positive and optimistic ] Track listing Yesterwynde: release date 20th September 2024 All tracks are written by Tuomas Holopainen. Just know how great this sounds it'll sound much better live ......unfortunately they wont be touring for atleast 2/3 years Those ghosts in the library are the band members
When/if Nightwish ever plays this live, I would love it to be a special recorded concert (in the UK?) with the full orchestra and choirs needed to play this epic song.
I also love the word ' heir '..not only because that we are the endowment of the past but also 'air ' ...the perfume...the essence of our ancestors...not only of humanity but also of ALL life... We are all connected...nothing is separate...one cannot exist without the other... Great reaction!! Welcome to the Army!❤

Regardless of Darwin's conclusions about how life developed, the video location shots in the library in the Natural History Museum contained the books and records of his research. The photo of Darwin looks like it may have been taken in that library. He was one of the "curious ghosts" I think that are referred to in the lyrics, who have looked at remains of the ancestors of life on our planet to understand life as it is, and what it was in the past.
Great choice ❤ The song conveys a message about the search for timeless truths and a deeper connection with the universe. The song suggests that while our lives are filled with transient moments, these moments can leave a lasting impact and become part of something eternal. The underwater scenes in the music video symbolize the exploration of the subconscious and the journey towards spiritual clarity and understanding. The combination of lyrical depth and evocative visuals creates a powerful narrative about the human experience. It invites listeners to reflect on their own lives, the fleeting yet impactful moments they encounter, and their place within the vast, timeless universe. It is a meditation on the enduring nature of beauty, the quest for spiritual fulfillment, and the interconnectedness of all things within the grand tapestry of existence.
Each and every family ancestor lived out their lives and those who had children who lived and had children before you, all of them lived their own lives full of life and death, love and drama, some lived in good times and some in bad times.. the same as you are living your's now, writing your own pages of existence and if you have children, one day it will be their children's children who will be living out their lives in good times or bad. I've seen this a bunch already, and i pick up more each time. Like the end.. when Troy sings, "Last sighs, of a million loves" and the choir voices are quietly sighing their last sighs in the background. It really doesn't take as long as you think to reach one million ancestors. I study genealogy, so I know incredibly fortunate we are to be here. I saw lines snuffed out because there were no surviving heirs, or how another line has 12/13 children die before they could procreate.. and a single heir made it. Or how much more complicated it is to find the exponentially increasing, yet also fading parts of your family story each generation back you go. Anyways excellent reaction, ty ❤and ✌️
Another great reaction from you that I enjoyed to watch! I have seen this one now about 150 times and each time it grows better and better on me. I know you will have a long journey with all the recommendations that will come up and will wait patiently till you come to the most sensitive ones, that are so important for me. Dead Boys Poem from their Buenos Aires Concert is one of them. The Poet and the Pendulum the second from Wembley Concert. But I would like you to first conquer the backstory for this one, because it is more than deep and if you did a good research it will for sure crack your soul - if not it is just another good song. Greetings from Germany and thank you dear for what you show and are.
The upcoming album is the third in a trilogy regarding the history of life, beginning with "Endless Forms Most Beautiful", which featured "The Greatest Show On Earth" (My personal greatest composition of my lifetime) then followed by "Human :II: Nature." They both deal with evolution and Darwin's "Origin of Species". You have not yet had the pleasure of anything from "Human :II: Nature" yet, but it's pure genius. Try "Noise" for a commentary on current society. I recommend the video first, then a live version so it makes better sense. The video better explains the concept visually. There are several live versions, but I don't think there's a definitive one. I'm enjoying your journey, and I can tell that you are as well. For me, it was the musical journey of a long lifetime, and I hope you feel as such as you progress. Nicely done!
Most of them live in the United States, and the music industry in my country controls what the people hear, and since they don't make money from Nightwish, guess what we don't hear.
@@Amiekinz4ever You're funny. I am so angry that the US audience is so ignorant to much of the best music in the world because of the control that the music industry has. Northern European music is at the top of the game and none of it gets to the US. We have to seek it out. You might give a listen to AURI (Tuomas, his wife Johanna Kurkela, and Troy). It's the gentle side, the quiet side of this genius music. If you like it, also try Eye of Melian. It is Tolkien based music featuring Johanna on vocals. The main composer is Martijn Westerholt, brother of Robert Westerhold from Within Temptation (a Dutch band you would adore with Sharon Den Adel on vocals). Keep up your journey, it's truly one to enhance a life.
Charles Darwin 12:21 - kind of a kook; he ate one of every species he classified and was often wrong in his classification (he didn't have a lot to work with - today we have DNA). Turns out most things classified as "fish" aren't related.
Unbelievable big mistake by you! Going from 2013 to now! Most people follow Gabriel’s list, and that’s for a reason. It’s for you to start with the Nightwish voyage with Floor with the secession of songs. But there you go! 🏴
@@Amiekinz4ever yes and it’s up to you obviously, and I understand fully. But now you see what they’re sounding like now, not seeing the growth and change through the years. Nightwish are so complicated in their music, for instance the lyrics are so meaningful and hard to understand, the sound is so amazing and so much going on especially live on stage! Anyway just my opinion. Enjoy you journey 🏴
This is the most recent example of the brilliance of Tuomas. His attachment to the sea is always close if not present. The lyrics will bring some clarity of the message. Many have questioned the volume or lack of in the vocals. I read Tuomas wanted to make the vocals be another part of the instruments within the song. We'll have to wait for the album and concert version to see if he changes this.

The bones "swimming" at 12:18 are those of a humpback whale.
Yup, and I'm staying a far away from it as possibly 😆 🤣 😂 😹
@@Amiekinz4ever That would probably be the center of Asia ...
Love your enthousiasm. So I really enjoyed your reaction🤘
Thank you!! 😁
I’m really liking your reactions. 😊
Thank you!! 😁
You're just starting your Nightwish journey. Just wait....
I love this band
🤩👍💥💯🎼
🤘😎💙🎶
That's the drummer 10:16 - other band members are interspersed as ghosts.
🤗🍒🤘🏻😘 again and great job, but yeah a little too many stops!!
Thank you, much love
Another excellent song besides all of them Nightwish plays is Dead Boys Poem.
Hello again, please react to shoemaker, that is something amazing... And little bit different...
The diver is wearing a wet suit - he's a famous free diver.
Thank you for the clarity
The Phantom of the opera - same band, but diferent band :) take a look
And people listen to Beyonce and Taylor Swift - i will never understand that when music like this exists 🤘
Most of them live in the United States, and the music industry in my country controls what the people hear, and since they don't make money from Nightwish, guess what we don't hear.
I like Beyonce and Taylor swift too 😆 🤣 😂
@@Amiekinz4ever Sorry
@@chadbennett7873 😆 🤣 😂
Agreed
Minor glitch - 4096 ancestors, not 4094
Still. That's a lot
Do motivation by Nick nittoli plzzz
Unbelievable big mistake by you! Going from 2013 to now! Most people follow Gabriel’s list, and that’s for a reason. It’s for you to start with the Nightwish voyage with Floor with the secession of songs. But there you go! 🏴
It's a new release, so I think it's important and it's not on his list.
How can you not realise that we cannot hear ANY of your words when you talk over the video ❗
Yeah, my settings were off on this video, it's fixed now
Nice reaction as allways. :)
Good song, but the mix ist horrible. 😑
Yeah it was, its fixed now
This is the most recent example of the brilliance of Tuomas.
2 exp n. The simplest geometrical progress. You are 2 exp 0 and all descendants will follow the same patern but in different direction. Nature is ruled by math and not any gods.
We may have a different world view, but we both agree that this band shreds!!!
