Broadway First Dates: Laura Osnes and Nathan Johnson

Like many theater couples, Laura Osnes and Nathan Johnson met onstage. But it almost didn't happen. They were the understudies for Jasmine and Aladdin in a children's theater production of Aladdin, and they didn't have a set time to go on together. But when the two leads literally collided onstage, Osnes and Johnson were ready to jump on the magic carpet in a moment's notice. And a whole new world of romance was born.

I’ve probably listened to the Last Five Years soundtrack too many times, but I have to wonder, is it weird to be a couple in love where they both started in theater and one made it as an actor on Broadway and one kind of didn’t?
