My favourite memory was when I heard the news of Seve´s victory because i did not watch the broadcasting. But that was the best golf feeling those days.

Little did anyone know that this would be Seve’s last major. He came close one or two other times. In his prime, I don’t think he had an equal. He was so interesting to watch and what a short game!

Such a beautiful player. I’ve spent countless hours watching him play, he did it with such a fierce determination with a style of his own. Hard to imagine he’s gone.

I was there and Seve was my childhood hero. I was convinced that he won it for me. But then everyone thought that. I was 18 years old then and an aspiring golfer. In the end, despite talent, I chose an education. I'll never forget that day and I sat all day in the grandstand waiting for that moment.
