Franco Harris is a role model for hard work! Franco was a great running back, a great human, a flat out Stud! Thank you for all the great memories, #32 RIP.
Some things just live FOREVER!! Growing up a diehard Steelers fan my dad always told me story's of The Steelers of the 70's and told me about Framcos Italian Army and how they brought that crowd at Three Rivers Stadium alive like no other. What a cool story this was I love this video thank you to whoever uploaded it I love the part where they said they hollowed out the bread and put the bottles of wine down in the bread that's pretty clever, you could never get away with that today but that was really really cool I'm soooooooo proud to be from The City of Champions I could never ask for a better team and city to cheer for LETS GO STEELERS!!!!
I've often been asked who was the most underrated RB of all-time? Without question my answer is Franco Harris. Tough as shoe leather and the heart and soul of the Steelers. I'm a Cowboys fan saying this who watched him for 9 years growing up. The guy was amazing.
I worked with Vento's niece who told me of the Fan club and was one of it's earliest members. Attended all 7 home games and both playoffs including the Immaculate reception.
