its crazy bro when i use my wireless headset, the default value of 2 is much better but with my wired headphones 8 is flawless
@therealdealoneill Hello Sir, please I need advice. I use IEMS for apex legends, everything is fine, but I need some advice. The sound is fine, I can hear well, but the sound of gunfire is very loud, when I lower the master sound I have trouble hearing the surroundings. is it possible to reduce the sound only for firing a gun?
The firing sound is actually the worst sound and no one figured out something to do about it yet.
Huh the screenshot at the end is referring to what? I have headphones that support surround sound. It’s saying not to enable that in your IN GAME settings and equalizer? One or the other or what? Where’s the link to post
Essentially the best method is to compare with the surround sound setting enabled vs disabled. I had to play a couple games with each and see if my headphones would benefit or not. It's unclear whether your headset software would interfere with the intended result of this setting set to 8.
why isn't everyone using the Razor Tiamat if it has more speakers? I mean does it even make since to use surround sound if people like aceu can still get by using apple earbuds ??
So Imma be real wit you bro I have no clue what Razor Tiamat is, but I invested in a external sound card with an amplifier that gives me 7.1 HD Surround sound audio back before I upgraded my pc because my motherboard has a terrible sound card... fast forward It's not really something I can get my money back for so I might as well keep it.
The benefit of this is depends on what sound equipment you use ( lets use my scenario where it is beneficial ) It doesn't give me any advantages per say, but it does help me hear the sound waves in a crispy fashion compared to the other version. It's hard to explain but it sounds better with a value of " 8 " and I can more distinctly hear footsteps over gun fire even when its only a couple. Not everyone will have a good experience changing their settings which is why I explain how to change it back :) out of date video low key sir

also after I changed the setting I was able to tell more precisely the direction the sound is coming from. When ppl try to flank me often times they get fried
My headphones do support surround sound, luckily. Its so much different now

Hello I just found this video . I’m planning to buy creative sound blaster x4 and I’m using steel series artic 5 . Can you recommend sound setting for apex ?
AS LONG as you know how to switch it back from my video, I would attempt to use the value of 8 in your file so you can try the full surround sound mode. I have a mode called " Scout Mode " which i find to be a great option in combination with this. However not every one will get the same results so I wish you luck brother and congrats on purchase.

Hey is it better to plug my headphones into my pc or my mic
So I am still using my Soundblaster GX5 but us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blasterx-g6 will be ideal in my opinion. I plug the sound blaster ( external sound card ) to my pc. Then i jus plug my headphones or speakers into the sound blaster and its real easy . I reccomend scout mode if you get one. Otherwise jus plug into pc friend

if its jus not there i guess u could try it. Jus make sure that you remember how to put it back the way it was before you changed it. Otherwise I might not do it :]

why would you want surround sound? it just sounds like hes coming from all direction i have a surround sound headset an wouldn't recommend it dog shit tbh
I guess you missed both the screenshot of the EA employee, and the audio where I mentioned you should pause and read it. If I skipped those steps I'd also be as lost as you. Some headsets are not compatible with surround sound because they have been designed for a stereo format which is more common due to lower costs. Some higher quality headsets are able to benefit from this. I made it very clear sometime the value of 2 will create a better experience than the value of 8. If this was not true good sir, I would not have covered how to revert the changes you have possibly made. Stay safe and happy gaming. I may recommend being a bit more thorough in your research brother you simply can save yourself trouble by being a little patience with yourself.

this made me get a Steam - Error smh ...
for this to happen you must have done a error my friend. I had to reformat my hard drive so I legit did this on Saturday with no issues at all. Change it back then big dog everything should be all right no body else has ever said this happened to them haha
