I’m not vegan, but I hate to see animals in tight cages, and being tortured. I live near the countryside and I love to drive out there and see the farm animals roaming free. Thank you for another amazing doll, and supporting change for a major problem.
Same here. I'm not vegan and eat a lot of meat, so I don't think animals shouldn't be killed for food at all. But I do think it should be as humane as possible and that the animals should live in luxury before they pass.

I thought her dress would look wonky but the feathers make it absolutely perfect! I'm honestly surprised by how well everything works together, she looks wonderful!

Dressmaking is not complicated... it's still a craft, as a dressmaker, let me assure you, it is highly technical and depending on the body shape, and if you need it to be graded, it is complicated. Just as developping perfect patterns and sewing techniques is. It's called fashion/industrial engineering for a reason!

The doll & cage are so pretty!! I do have a tip for soldering: if you heat up the solder, it sticks to the iron and it becomes very inconvenient to use. For a cleaner & easier result, heat up the wire instead! The solder will stick to the heated material, but not to your soldering iron, which looks a lot cleaner. With a little bit of practice you can get precise enough to solder arduino components with this technique!

Staining or oiling wood before putting it in the laser cutter can produce a lot more smoke when cut, and the cut edges will not be stained. Unfortunately I also recently found out that vapourized oils can then deposit on the laser mirrors and are darn annoying to clean off again. (in my case it was linseed oil)

The entire video was wonderful! Love everything you created. The cage looks so good & the doll is pure magic. So lovely. I love seeing your faces after years of watching just your hands while you two work & create together! As far as combating animal cruelty, I really appreciate your words. I was an animal cruelty investigator & an officer with the Dept. Animal Control here in America in my younger days. At the age of 68 now, I STILL have nightmares of the horrific atrocities I've witnessed in the performance of my job. The perpetrators basically get a slap on the wrist as punishment, which was heartbreaking to me in light of the severity of their crimes. Now retired, I will still get right up in people's faces whenever I witness animal abuse. Thanks ladies!!

Congratulations on doll #100. She is absolutely stunning and I hope the auction is successful! The copper leafing was bringing back memories when I handmade all my wedding invites and hand-foiled them with gold leaf. The result was gorgeous but damn it went absolutely everywhere lol
I love that you guy are doing this for charity. I live in New Zealand and our supermarkets recently stopped supplying all caged eggs, so now they only supply free range or barn raised. I really like how the outfit came out, it's so pretty. Using the gold flakes was such a good idea, she looks so sparkly. I don't like wearing shoes very much either :) Yaaassss love the lights in the cage and the gold leaf, it makes the cage look so pretty. Hehe the song at the end was great.

It's not, it's quite the opposite of a symbol of freedom on its own. But as the owner of the doll (it was auctioned off) you can break the cage open, symbolic of being part of positive change towards freedom/supporting animal rights.

@Enchanterium if you are loosing quality with your gimbal you might want to check the recording settings 💡 I had the same issue as my phone is 4k but the gimbal was set to 720p.....
