Im an in training entomologist, with wasps as my specialty, and let me say the absolute JOY i felt when seeing this video in my sub box!! :DD !! Wasps are such darling creatures, it warms my heart to see more and more artists taking them on as their muses for projects ^^ ❤️
If you have spare time please convince me to love wasp with some cool facts because for all I know wasp is a literal demon of the insect world and it had been a struggle for me to love them. (wow that was a long sentence.)
@@drendraleigh4722 not a problem ^^ spreading love for them is my main thing!! They have very cute :3 faces if you look closely, and clean themselves like cats! Theyll lick their feet and groom their head, its the cutest thing ever! Some species even squeak like toys! Wasps also prey on flies and maggots. Without wasps, the world would be overrun with flies and maggots of every kind. They can be hand-fed, and recognize faces. Most interestingly though, they can pass on the genetic memory of your face to their offspring! If you feed one wasp, all of her children will know youre nice, and leave you alone for generations! Id suggest watching videos of potter wasps working, the way they handle mud with care to build a home for their babies is so sweet. As well as videos of gall wasps, who can change the genetic structure of plants to make them grown unique structures to protect their eggs! Its crazy!! I know its hard to get rid of the instinctual panic when you see them, but the more research you do, the easier itll be to be calm around them. Usually, wasps "chasing" people are just curious, and can smell sweat on your skin! I dont expect you to get to this level, but ive let them land on me and let them drink sweat from my eyebrows. Its like being cleaned by a small cat, feels exactly the same ^^ theyre such sweet, important animals, and i hope ive helped you a bit!! :D
The concept for this doll is so stunning! You can definitely tell she's a wasp, but still different from catmelions series. You guys should totally do a collab someday!

She looks like a total badass! 👍🏻 And personally, I adore bumblebees and hummingbird hawk moths (in our language we call them 'little dove-tails') - they are super cute and harmless. I've rescued quite a few bumblebees over the years and they are just adorable, even up close!
That extra dyed body with the all black scaly yet sleek features reminds me of a xenomorph! In case you two are fans of the Alien franchise it would be awesome to see a xenomorph-inspired doll.

I fear most insects, but I do have a favorite. Praying Mantis, any type really. They're all surprisingly pretty. And my least favorite insects are roaches, I despise them with every fiber of my being. Beautiful doll, by the way. The world needs more pretty wasp-themed characters!

She turned out super pretty, I love the fierce vibe and the pattern and colour palette. ❤ I love goliath beetles and moths in general (the luna month, the rosy maple moth and the light emerald moth are some of my favourites).
I love how cool she looks!! I'm also totally obsessed with how that black paint looks on the body, I'm going to have to get some of that paint for myself. For the wings, if you're worried about screws loosening over time you could try to apply some thread locker to them

Barb, you have too many robots and have become too powerful. I doon't think I'd ever confuse a Studio Catmeleon doll with an Enchanterium one, it's fun to see different takes on the same concept.

Oh wow! I really hope you do some manner of collab with Catmeleon in the future… I love her style and approach to customizing. Nothing is cute, pretty much everything is beautiful, sometimes veers grotesque in parts, and everything is well-researched and cohesive. I love it. 🤩 Laser cutter!!! Wow, congratulations on your new acquisition! There’s having a desktop cutter and then there’s having a laser cutter (or access to one, which is what I had). Those are so handy. I used to make laser-cut acrylic jewelry but always wanted to try other stuff, especially fabric. Being able to do stuff like precision-cut leather or pain-in-the-ass synthetic fabrics? I thought it would be fun to try making cage boots. There’s apparently some way to make burn marks not appear on your substrate or to make allowance for the burn marks maybe, but I never learned how to deal with that. Since I only cut acrylic sheets, it wasn’t a problem. I can’t wait to see what else you make with yours!
I know it's missing somethings for now but I already loved the workshop, you gals will have a lot of space so you can to challenge yourselves even more in your projects 💜 congratulations for your achievements!!
Every time you guys create something on your channel my jaw drops to the floor because of how amazing it is. You two are the perfect team, I’d die if you ever split up, the doll is out of this world phenomenal girls, unreal Bug I’m most Terrified by is the Oil Sands Beetle here in northern Canada, it’s a huge 2inch water beetle that flies, with huge 5 cm jaws that’ll take a huge chunk out of you… Blech! 🤮
As a fellow bug hater, I can say that wasps, bees and bumblebees are insanely cute. We have a wasp nest in our garden, with them being so peaceful, that we didn’t even notice them UNTIL WE RIPPED THERE NEST IN HALF!!! So yeah, there was an angry, terrified cloud in the air, and the had stung my father A LOT. But we called a beekeeper who just put the top half back in place. The wasps were almost gone within a minute. Totally chill since there home returned. Did you know that most wasps are actually vegetarian? Its actually the young that need animal proteins. Wasps love flowers

It looks great and on vinyl it stays pretty well but on a plastic body was scratching really fast, that's one of the reasons why I covered it in resin

Favorite bug is a luna moth! Least favorite is definitely centipedes and anything centipede-like.... they give me shivers down my back!

Bug I’m most Terrified by is the Oil Sands Beetle here in northern Canada, it’s a huge 2inch water beetle that flies, with huge 5 cm jaws that’ll take a huge chunk out of you… Blech! 🤮

As a fellow bug hater, I can say that wasps, bees and bumblebees are insanely cute.
We have a wasp nest in our garden, with them being so peaceful, that we didn’t even notice them UNTIL WE RIPPED THERE NEST IN HALF!!! So yeah, there was an angry, terrified cloud in the air, and the had stung my father A LOT. But we called a beekeeper who just put the top half back in place.
The wasps were almost gone within a minute. Totally chill since there home returned.
Did you know that most wasps are actually vegetarian? Its actually the young that need animal proteins. Wasps love flowers
