I was today years old when I learned Ashley Eckstein was married to David Eckstein. I’m a die hard Cardinals fan along with being a die hard Star Wars fan, and I was a senior in high school when they won that 06 World Series, he was one of my favorite players. People like Eckstein, Filoni, Lanter, Taylor, etc are so much more wholesome than most of modern Hollywood. They're not just genuine fans of Star Wars - they're genuine people. You don't get that a lot these days.

Ashley, mark and theory just locked themselves as some of my favorite people on earth. They all have a passion for Star Wars, but they also have a passion for helping and caring for people which is beyond amazing to see. Hearing them say such positive things and give such amazing thoughts about life and helping people made my year. Thank you three for being an inspiration but most of all thank you for being three genuine, caring and kind human beings.

Darth Plagueis was dark lord of the sith so powerful and so wise that he could use the force to influence the midichlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones that he care about from dying. The dark side is pathway to many abilities some of them consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing that he was afraid of is losing his power. Which eventually of course he did. Unfortunately he taught his apprentice everything he knew then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic he could save others from death but not himself.

I am a Star Wars fan since 1978 (when it started here in Germany), so I grew up with the originals. And the characterisation of Ahsoka is so well written that she is my favourite character in Star Wars at all right beside Vader and Han Solo, even before Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan or Yoda! Much of this has to do not only with the creators and writers but with the work of Ashley Eckstein!

I'm glad they made Ahsoka a huge focus in the last season. First it was the clones now it's Ahsoka, because we kind of already know what Obi Wan and Anakin were going through at this point in time, this season is like the final piece of the puzzle that completes the whole picture of the clone wars. Sad now that I say that…this really does feel like THE end of The Clone Wars era once and for all. Because we're only around the corner of when everything falls apart.

Ashley! Thank you for pointing out how the took Asoka’s gender and any kind of race out of it. It really did make her so much more relatable. It gave her more depth. It allowed her to grow into a beloved character. Identity politics in my opinion often cheapen stories and cause characters with so much potential to fall from grace. Movies just need well written characters not political icons to push an agenda.

This is so cool, I already felt that Dave really enjoys his work and cares so much about Star Wars and fans, but it's damn great to hear Ashley say that about him. Why Dave isn't calling more shots at Lucasfilms is beyond me. Also what Ashley said about them not thinking about gender when they made Ahsoka? That's the way to do it, put story first and things will flow naturally.

Ok I’m done Ashley is the kindest loving and lovely living being ever. And thanks to her I get now how it was so important that the main character of the new trilogy had to be a girl (I originally found it cool but not that relevant, for me it should always be picked randomly: a girl or a boy, doesn’t matter). But at that time it was important because it could bring more girls into the fandom so that our fellow female nerdies would NOT be bullied anymore. I didn’t know about that, my sister and I are fans since our childhood, but it amazed me to hear that you could be mocked because of your passion. Thanks Ashley for your fight 🙏🏼

Loved how Ashley said Ahsoka’s gender is irrelevant. When you make an awesome character you don’t need to push bullshit agendas..if they are a well written character people will connect with them and find similarities between themselves and the character regardless of their gender.
I don't know why all of a sudden people seem think that a character has to look like them or they cant relate to them.. ye it helps to initially draw u in but the substance of the character is what you're supposed to care about.

I Love Ashley! Thank you for having her on the show. She is so wonderful and she is such an inspiration. I got my 12yr old daughter her book " It's Your Universe" for christmas to read and help inspire and encourage her. Ahsoka is my favorite character in clone wars next to Obi Wan. I hope some day to make it to a Star Wars celabration and meet Ashley. I hope they do many more stories of Ahsoka. Ashley is Awesome!!!!!!!
