    REVIEW DISCLAIMER:
My Airsoft channel is an entertainment channel where the equipment featured, are predominantly used for my movie-making ventures and of course.. airsofting! I love reviewing airsoft products and collecting them, so have merged all of these entities together to create this channel. I laugh at myself at times and do not take myself too seriously, so you shouldn't either! 😇 However... Safety and laws surrounding airsoft WILL ALWAYS be my top priority!
I do not have the room/space to do long-range accuracy tests. Until I can secure a larger space, what you see in my videos is all I can offer for now. Sometimes I do have access to an outdoor secure field but it is nowhere near where I am based. Please remember my UA-cam channel is my hobby and not a business. My channel has never and will never claim to be an expert airsoft product review and testing channel, but I do my best! 😎
Thanks for stopping by... 😇 Appreciated!
    SIDENOTE:
All of the reviews featured on Airsoft Mike’s UA-cam channel are brand new, out of the box reviews. So more often than not, all items featured will be in good, if not perfect working order.
A follow-up review of all Airsoft equipment will be done at a later date. (This is taking longer than expected but updates will follow early 2021).
This is so a full and frank opinion can be given. Any faults or issues discovered since the unboxing, will be highlighted in follow up videos.

the swiftness of the Ranger is still talked about today
Texas Red had not cleared leather for a bullet fairly ripped
And the ranger's aim was deadly, with the big iron on his hip

So the Schofield is the US military's version of the Smith and Wesson Model 3. The major differences are the caliber of the firearm, .45 Schofield for the Schofield and .44 S&W American or .44 Russian for the Model 3. Later on the Model 3 was chambered in tons of cartridges that were available at the time. The latch mechanism was also different.

The Schofield was a top break single action revolver produced by Smith and Wesson. The advantage of this pistol was in how it was unloaded. The weapon came apart at the top and ejected all the cartridges. These pistols came in several different calibers. These pistols also came with a 7 ½" barrel. Some well know western icons reported to carry this pistol were Jesse James, John Wesley Hardin, Pat Garrett, Theodore Roosevelt, Virgil Earp, and Billy the Kid.

weird thing about this gun is that they seem to have modelled it on a modern replica chambered in .38 special instead of .45 Schofield. The shells are the same size but slightly shorter than the .357 Magnum revolver shells on the market.

I have a Ruger Superhawk revolver which has a similar power level. So I got one of those refillable cartriges and if I fill it with green gas the revolver shoots under 0.2J With 0.12g BBs that gives me around 40 feet of engagement distance, I was thinking that would come in handy for those super close range encounters. Anyone else tried something similar?

Hello Mike, a great video again. I'm considering buying this one in a pellet version for free-time shooting. I'd like to ask a question - in the shooting part of your video, the actual shots sound very silent, almost like a click of a mouse :D I've got airsoft beretta (also co2, plastic one, not the best at all) and the sound of expanding gas is much louder which I like. When I heard the sound in the video, I was a bit surprised. Is this caused by the recording or does it really sound that silent in reality? Sorry, if there's already a similar question but I didn't find it. Thank you very much for your answer!

    • @minder01
      @minder01 3 роки тому

      Okay if I step in?
Your Beretta is probably just louder because it's plastic. This gun is all metal except for the grips and doesn't reverb like plastic airsoft guns. That said, yes the video recording does have an effect on the sound. The frequency can't be picked up by most audio equipment. The same thing happens when you run a suppressor on a real gun. In video, it's really silent but in person, it's still super loud.

Mike I have a question for you, is there any possibility that I can pay you for your asg schofeild six revolver. I know your a collector and normal you wouldn’t want to part with one of your guns but I’m from the USA and it’s impossible to buy it here. I’ve already had 2 issue with two stores out of country trying to get this awesome pistol with no avail. I’d be willing to pay
full price/shipping of what it cost so you can get yourself a brand new one for your collection. If there’s any possibility you’d be willing to part with this beautiful piece please comment back and we’ll figure out the details. Thank you for your videos and time
