Manga cafes, known as "manga kissa" in Japanese are much more than just cafes where you can rent manga. They are cheap convenient superhubs, where you can surf the internet, shower, have your nails done, drink coffee, take naps in the middle of the city and can be a lifesaver when you've missed the last train home. Here I show you how it's done after a few bad decisions on a Saturday night :* Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Wow that place is cool. Food, manga, a computer, a private place to lie down... even a shower!? Why go home at all?? lol XD

It's actually becoming a bit of a problem in some places. Housing and living are so expensive that a lot of businessmen are reduced to living in these cafe's which seems fine at first but does start to effect your mind and depression has a much higher risk of appearing.

ua-cam.com/video/j5bVWzTyJ7E/v-deo.html The Japanese term is Hikikamori, lots of videos about it and the problem it's creating.

Hikikamori is different, the people they're talking about are the "net cafe refugees"

FYI, typical pricing at manga cafe, check in between 21:00 to 5:00: 6 hours=1200 yen, if you check in at 21:00, you can stay until 3 am for 1200 yen. 9 hours=1900 yen.
12 hours package= 2500 yen, you can check in any time of the day. Friday to Sunday, add 200 yen on the above rates.
Shower is 500 yen for 20 mins.

3:04 I got one of those lamps. Real sea salt. Showed up while I was making Chicken Alfredo. Took a few licks, tasted good. Maybe die tomorrow. Who wants to live forever? 4:16 There's trash everywhere! That sucks. Completely blew my stereotype of 100% clean except for rude tourists.
