Just bought one in Reverb. Didn't get the guitar yet. I was going to change the pick up for Lollars.... but you say you like them. Are those hot, swampy, what's you feel about them?
After realizing this colour is not a flat finish, I placed an order at my local guitar store for this exact model. It’s an amazingly easy to play guitar with great tones and flexibility! Thanks for posting this video, it was well produced!
le son disto c'est merdique fait pour les bourrins et ne traduit rien des qualités acoustiques de la guitare, encore moins des performances des micros.
Some of us like options in the neck pickup. That doesn't mean you have to, SH*. It's easy to be nasty online when you can remain anonymous. I'll bet there are teles out there that you would like. Maybe even in a color you desire. Options make it possible to please many more players, some like them with Bigsbys, some hard-tail, some compensated saddles, some not. With so many after-market products that come with pretty easy instructions, we can take a guitar that's "almost" like we want it and turn it into our "dream" player. This one comes in four colors, with both rosewood and maple boards. If not in the combination you prefer, aftermarket necks are available so you don't have to pay a premium for a custom telecaster. Even those of us with a "Champagne taste and a beer budget" can have what we want. Look at how many have kept the stratocaster and telecaster alive from their humble beginnings. I'm amazed that variations keep popping up to blur the lines, like the "Nashville Tele" with 3 pickups, the John 5 version with 3 humbuckers and a Bigsby, and now they've introduced an acoustic telecaster! Guitar players still love the telecaster or they wouldn't keep making variations. There are Teles now with six individual saddles to share from the Strat. Different metals are being used for us to change things up, and I saw one manufacturer of strings reintroduce the old monel compound in strings that takes me back to the 1950s. I'll never forget seeing my first Les Paul with the white P-90s and goldtop finish. But do you know what brand amp was being used? A Fender! Leo really can be appreciated for starting us out, but all those inspirations that came along later were also taking care of even more players. Surely one or two of these would strike your fancy and pop a smile on your face. How cool would that be? Huh? Remember the 1972 Custom Tele with the dedicated humbucker in the neck? I always wanted to see someone successfully make a split-coil option of that guitar. Now, here it is at around $1k. Awesome, to me. Why not try one in your music store. It might surprise you.
Lol that's funny was about to write the same my OCD always start at bridge and love the fact the dude that commented Robert whatever just missed that one by a mile, it's ok Robert your probably married to a crazy Karen that beat you into brain damage
Well, I messed with one just like this at the store and it looks much better in person. It wasn’t bad. For a grand though, I’d want a cooler color. The tan is the color of the guitar as I see it on both my iPads. Tan, butter yellow, off white maybe....whatever. That’s what it looks like on my screen.
🎸 Get a Performer Fender Telecaster geni.us/performertele
Fender did an excellent job with the pickups on these 2019 Performer series Telecasters.

Killer review, man! Good taste for tone too. Do you think this tele with humbucker got output volume similar to a les paul output volume?
I'm also curious to know the same

Would like to know as well. Looking at this guitar at the moment. The bucker adds versitility. No?

I really don't like those Yosemite pickups, but it looks good though.
@Joel Bloom Ok. We all have different tastes, I suppose.

Robert R Rainey Jr Pretty sure he was correcting HS into HS because the Humbucker’s not in the bridge

The only missing thing would be compensated saddles. The intonation is not quite right and chords sound awfully out of tune.
I don’t think it’s awful but I know what you mean
So does it have problems with intonation?

That tan color is absolutely horrible. Very lame. What a waste. If they made this in honey burst, I'd likely buy it.
I have to say I’m not a fan of the honey burst but they do have it for this Telecaster series in that colour 👍
It's a vintage white coloration, which comes out as a yellow finish. What "tan" are you talking about?
