For those not versed in Judo like myself, I think maybe if you could group by throws to do year recap, would be awesome. I know it is a lot of work, so if you may, thanks a lot in advance.

@9:30 i think implicit bias of the referees and judges is a huge issue in competitive judo. the referees in judo are of outstanding importance, compared to other sports. it is incredibly hard to be a referee on that competitive level in modern judo. not only do they have to judge if someone scored within a second, but they also are expected to guardthe cultural and philosophical expression of judo, which is usually done (or not) by penalties. when it comes to the decision between an ippon or a waza-ari, the referees understanding of "good judo" plays a key role. i honestly think it is one of the hardest sports to be a referee in.
True, One of the hardest sports to be a referee. Things happen in a fraction of a second, so the referee has to be able to see it, know it, make a decision and a call. Is it an ippon or not, a penalty or not.
Fantastic! I do appreciate all the work put on this video. BTW, Cargnin pronouncing is: Car (like car, vehicle, in English) gn (like the gn in gnu, the antelope, aka wildebeest) in (like the preposition in) Don't know if it is clear or more confusing 😅
After reviewing the throw again I can see why you think it might be a koshi-guruma. However I think the grip is wrong for it to be called koshi-guruma. "Makikomi" means wraparound and I guess you're right that it isn't "hane" which means feather or winged. I'm going to correct myself and say this is "soto-makikomi" or "outer wraparound". The kodokan judo channel on youtube has a great demonstration of the throw and I think this throw most resembles it. Soto-makikomi: m.ua-cam.com/video/bWG9O1BVKtQ/v-deo.html

Hi, I saw a post from the AJJF that there will be a judo tournament with possible big names? Will you cover it?
Yes
If I can!
@@JudoHighlights2015 I'd like to view more of domestic competition in Japan. Their highschoolers are like the level of top level european judoka
