Explore the historical and ongoing contributions of the White Fathers, also known as the Missionaries of Africa, who have been instrumental in spreading the Catholic faith across Africa since their founding in 1868 by Cardinal Charles Lavigerie. This video covers their approach to evangelization, including the establishment of Christian communities, the development of local clergy, and their strategic movements across the continent. Gain insights from Fr. Stanley Lubungo, the Superior General, about the challenges of working in remote areas, the strategic importance of education, and the society’s adaptation to current geopolitical and social challenges.

Congrats to the missionaries of Africa
Nice documentary.
Thanks for the recognition.
It is always a pleasure to hear from the Missionaries of Africa/ White Fathers as they were known in the early years in Africa.
Beautiful archival footage of their work in Africa, especially the Christmastide Mass in the Old Rite (red vestments might refer to Saint Stephen). Reminds me of a pivotal scene from Audrey Hepburn's film "Story of a Nun", showing similar priests in that same country when it was still the Belgian Congo.
God Bless the work of The White Fathers!
Very nice
