Buy a pre installed housing not a blank housing trust me you will thank me later to transfer the volume power flex is easy enough but if u need to transfer new buttons into the new housing this is where your problems start you got tiny little brackets clipped onto the back off the buttons and need to be unclipped a certain way or they will either bend or snap so fiddly took me a couple of hours to get them back in tidily not worth the stress just buy housing that already have volume and power button installed save yourself the hassle as there's no video that shows how they are removed correctly

@@howfixit when I’ve been taking the battery out I’ve made a small hole in the battery where the adhesive tape was will this effect the battery and will it make it dangerous to use with This tiny hole in it
@@howfixit the back cover is the glass & the frame (as one unit)? That might be why the back is expensive, but the touch/lcd screen is affordable! Thank you
I got a replacement that had the buttons and loudspeaker and lighting port and wireless charger already installed all I had to do was put the Logic board, battery, front camera/face Id, back camera, and Taptic Engine took only about 25 mins

And it's unlocked so tried every sim card in it but same result every time 1 signal bar this makes phone calls very hard to hear due to poor signal strength I'm leaning towards a new cellular flex but not sure which flex I'd need to order
Some housings already come with this pre-installed. You can buy them with just the bear housing or with the small parts already installed for a little more. Imo i think its worth the extra money having the parts pre-installed

I had to all figure it out myself cuz i couldn't find any proper guides online but luckily it's the same as other models

Yeah that adhesive with the blue film makes it water resistance again!

Found the fault the antenna flex at the top of the phone the one with 2 silver circle holes had snapped so replaced now full signal :)
would it be easier to just switch logic board over to another xr if its locked
if replace motherboard, you also need to reinstall + faceid module + sensors on display module
