I'm 37 years old but I've touched the basketball just 2 years ago for the first time in my life. I had to go through all the basic fundamentals of basketball by myself(and still learning) and now I'm playing in a local league amongst some very experienced players. I just wanted to say your videos are extremely helpful to me. Thank you very much couch.
If Yaseen or Ogden Jr make it to the NBA they low-key gotta give you at least 3% of their first year salary no cap. You are the GOAT. Also ik i am a bit late but could you please come to Perth, Australia in the future for a clinic, thx. I'm out.
Hey Ryan, best video yet... it's great to see training video alongside game footage! Kids are slow to get the footwork if they can see it in training and then in an actual game it helps. I'm working on training the importance of elevation changes and getting under your defender (drawing fouls, step back, etc.) ... future video?
@@krabbykrabby8818 relax bro and work hard till tryout day. During tryout play like yourself don't care what coach think about you get swag on your game be confident.
What cues do you use for the bump euro? When they see the defenders back? I'm trying to help my more athletic players figure out when to do it and when not to. The move tends to be open after attacking the top foot, then the defender drop steps and runs exposing their shoulder/back for the bump. Thoughts? Love your content.
Great Video Coach, appreciates your efforts.I want to be Steph,Harden,Kobe types of player who can finish by themselves. Please make this type of video. Thank you !
Ryan you deserve 100x more subs, I’ve been trying to reach out to local college coaches with no responses yet but I’m still determined to play. I owe my life to the rock after all.
Hey I’ve been following you for a minute now and I love your videos they’re really helpful! I’m pretty short I’m 5’4” and I just want to be able to get better at finishing over taller defenders. A video that could help with that would be great!!
Creating my own shot off the dribble. I’m a great shooter, especially in the catch and shoot but I want to be able to get my own shot off. Also I want to improve my court vision on the fast break and the pick and roll
yo ryan when your working on these variety of finishes do you specifically work on just one throughout the whole day over and over or just switch them up because i want to learn how to do all of them effectively
Can you make a video on the most efficient ways to create space off the dribble or more of a jump shot space creating video for people that wanna have those great iso moves and Kobe type moves that kill in a one on one matchup
I know I’m just saying I wanna learn some more moves in that department and I really liked the way this video was actually applicable and you could see multiple takes of the same move making it easy to understand I just need to focus on efficiency when I’m scoring and adding more moves to the arsenal
first off. this break down crazyyy. lol you can see him get to the spots and his mind -body go to work. ...I gotta lose weight to up that hang time tho
I might be a weird case here. But I've never played organized ball in my life. And not that much pickup either. It's my favorite sport to watch now tho, so I'm getting into playing it. I'm already 22 so I my only goal is to dominate rec leagues as a undersized guard
I'm 5'8 and 14 yrs old but for some reason I'm always playing big in pick up games and when I try to carry the ball they always tells me to go under the rim
I want to play like Sharife Cooper hes an under sized guard dominating hs basketball and doesnt even have a "freakish athleticism" He plays like Kemba Walker he always makes his moves unpredictable and is great at finishing at contact
When I hoot, my guide hands naturally goes on top of the ball, is this wrong? I am studying many different players and most of their guide hands are above the ball.
Hey coach ryan, i had a game where i discovered my weakness is fastbreaks layups. I got a steal then i found myself at a 1v1 situation against a tall guy with hands up, i was at the T line(free throw left side) which finishing moves would be effective ?
Depends on your own strength. you could also euro around him if you are a bit smaller, or soak up contact and go for the and-1 if you are confident in your strength you could also pull up if he is sagging.
Do me a favor & share this video with a friend✊🏽 let’s get to 50k!!

The bump wade? It depends on the help and how the defender is attached to them. But it’s a late cutoff
Do you only do it if their hips are turned and you can see their back? Or do you also do it if you see chest?
This video is helpful Ryan⭐️. I realize I don't play with enough contact. Its like I'm avoiding myself from being touched

How do you work on the finishing at 4:58 ? How would i be able to work on that
Try to get the ball to touch the rim. Then bring it back to your shoulder and finish
Idk it's just sometimes we are scared to mess up, you should make a video how to get out of our confront zone
Now this are moves!

Coach when do you know when to finish directly over rim and when to use the backboard?
Depends if you need the rim to protect you or not
1:39 2:36 3:05 3:53 5:03 6:12
you should be in the nba
I'd like to work with you over the summer if you came out here to knoxville
