i wish we had this kind of training when i was younger...we only learn to change direction and protect the ball...to learn isolation moves we had to watch nba and learn by ourselves...thanks for the tips, good work
For real. We just watched and imitated players and situations. These youngsters today have everything they need on the internet to help them get better...
Elite content here folks. Explanation, counters and combinations, formula, reasoning and great camera angles. Just like some other skill coaches Tyler has played/ worked with. No useless dribble moves here folks.
Muy buenos movimientos y fintas de 1 contra 1, son movimientos basicos, para practicarlos solos y mejorar las habilidades individuales. Felicitaciones! Saludos de Argentina
Great point but shouldn’t we step down hill so we have a better chance beating the d off the first step instead going latterly which really doesn’t apply unless it’s for a shot?
Was this filmed at Prestonwood Sports? I remember seeing y’all shooting a video like 6 months ago right after they started letting people back in after Covid. Great stuff man!
I hoop on daily a lot I try to every day at the park with people and seen a lot of different players n jumpers and ur jumper is good and u got good moves and we can learn a lot I try to learn and better myself in every way I study different players
Someone should make a tutorial on how to pass to an open teammate. Or post entry pass. Or pass out of the post. Or some other skill to make your teammates better in a TEAM game.
i mean it’s trial and error bro.. my strong suit has always been my playmaking and my passing.. also studying players like nash and cp3 help a lot.. it’s about learning all the different types of passes and situations where you would have an open teammate.. more IQ rather than physical work tbh
CEOS of saying right. Haha but no, this video is SO good and helpful. Very detailed and useful for a FREE lesson that isnt a teaser just to promote something else. We don't deserve you Coach lol good day to you
What kind of move would you suggest for a defender that is far longer than I am and a step quicker, who sits back and just waits to pick the ball and reaches. alot. Can't seem to get the ball far enough outside my frame on crossovers for him to not pick it. Any suggestions?
No magic pill against defenders who are both stronger and quicker than you. I definitely wouldn't be crossing the ball over because that's the easiest move to steal. Your best option is to get very close to him and use some kind of hesitation. Get as low as possible and use your offhand. But why don't you shoot it if he's sagging off you?
@@CoachFrikki it's funny you suggest that, because that's all I've been able to do is crowd him, get into a drop and rip down his hand with my off arm and do a blow by. The problem with shooting over him is he'll play off me until I'm inside NBA 3 pt range. I'm comfortable shooting out there but he's still so long he contests anyway.
Use a screen or initiate contact on the drive to destabilize him (Kyrie Irving, and Kemba Walker are excellent at this, CJ McCollum too) before popping out for a shot or shot fake into a drive.
A problem with a lot of these moves is that they can slap the ball away if your not quick enough. And a lot of defenders that no what they r doing will not give way for the ball and rather focus on the ball not the body
What a beautiful video, i like it. I'm a basketball's player, point guard post. We need master more technics and dribbles. I subscribe and activate the cowbell. Thank you a lot sir.
There is a talent and few go-to moves, the rest of it is just funny games for the streetball and show off on the practice. Outside of few players that could do it in real games 95% would never ever do it on a regular basis.
Love the way you "Explain and Train" bro... and showing repeatedly in fast real time how it looks. Great work. 👍🏽💪🏽
When he said “right” I felt that in my soul
Which time
Unfortunantly in Brazil we dont have this type of lesson , thanks coach, great job

It’s about creating angles, going laterally creates angles which then if you read it you can get downhill
Tyler Relph's Hoop Dynamic appreciate the reply Ty .
8:40 he acted like he was playing a video game and the game made him miss a perfect green shot😂 love these moves tho!
Your accuracy 💯💯

If u dont know how to pass to an open team mate u shouldnt play basketball
Daniel Horowitz Nah, not true at all. We all gotta start somewhere
Sure . So you can pass me the ball so I can do this more .
Thanks
Wow when you do it it looks easy but when you get on the court !!!
Just gotta practice
Best crossover
very useful~
What the song at the end

Hi I’m from Russia 🇷🇺 great job
At what point do you know your defender is beat? When your mid chest is outside a shoulder or a foot is outside a foot
They always call a travel on this triple threat offese. It either our referees were poor on judgement or its really a travel 😁
Ej Agito it’s only a travel when your stationary foot lifts before dribbling the ball.
Thnk u
Make more vids like this
TOUGH !!!!!! 😤🙌
Helpful😎
I have a question why would you do a jump shot when your open, you can do a lay up so it would have a higher chance to go in.
If you're playing one on one and you blow your opponent down layup is the best way but I think on the video he's showing more of a 5v5 situation
CEOS of saying right.

Or you can just develop your outside shot. Shoot it right in their face.
Right? Right? Right? Right? Right? What about left, coach?
No communism here

Subscribing never stops, training never starts.
Wouldn’t the ‘drop pivot’ be considered a hesi?
Different type of Hesi’s though... so we like to name them so our players know which one we are talking about

Don't believe me, download 10 games any level NBA Euro etc, then edit every basket scored and see for yourself.
