There is a mod, which adds "The Big NFT heist". It adds a small apartment with a pc that you hack (hack takes 30s). However, there are a lot of cops, just the whole apartment is swarmed with them.
With payday 3 being set in the "digital age" it wont surprise me if we actualy get a heist where we have to defend the computer from police while an npc heister is copypasting NFTs and occasionaly being delayed by software issues and police stepping on the wire to delay it

Once law enforcement was informed of this, the response was absolutely nothing because nobody (including local authorities, GenSec, the FBI, and the DHS) cared. There's nothing more to say other than that the gang most definitely succeeded. Personal notes: I don't even know why I'm even typing this and saving this into the case against the clowns. It's not even a crime, infact the only reason we know about this 'heist' (with air quotes bigger than the galaxy) is because someone had called us and told us so. Saying it was something that we need to act on fast, I told him that prank calling the FBI is a serious crime and if he calls this number again about it, there'll be serious consequences, but he insisted that what the clowns were doing was 'important'. I told him that I didn't care and hung up.

Same energy as if someone would buy a piece of rock for unimaginably high price then sell it for even more. (While people can just go outside and find similiar looking rocks for free)
