You completely gloss over the fact that this addon doesn't take care of any scaling issues. Your models are coming into UE really tiny. Scale conversion between Blender and UE is one of the biggest issues, and especially for rigger characters with armatures. This doesn't seem to address any of that.
Definitely one of the most important tasks a Blender to Unreal Pipeline needs to handle. I still set the scene unit scalings to 0.001. After that the exported scale fits the Unreal system.
I purchased humble bundle, and didn't know how to use this addon. Thanks for this tutorial
Crazy! I really needed this tutorial. Thanks man.
I bought the pack from humble bundle a few days ago :3
Glad I could help!
Can this export camera and skeletal animations, blendshapes and etc?
Ayyyhoo thanks!
Is all the texture you created exported and assign properly to unreal after sending?
What about characters?
Why to simply export a gITF ? and import it into Unreal ?
Thank you for this very helpful tutorial! Once again only the best from you! Keep it coming! I love your work ❤ You got my thumbs up for sure! 👍
