This show could've been more popular if they had shown nagumo's life in real world like in light novel, they totally skipped 30% of volume 1 of the light novel
I love Hajime's fighting style - make his jump-pads he uses to double-jump red and give him a scene where he uses a sword (since he already made quite a few) and we have a Dante's Gunslinger ripoff (with some DMC5 Nero's part). I don't know how much of that is intentional on the author's part (he admits few times in LN he just likes chuuni aestethics) but it's definitely awesome to have more DMC style anime (since DMC anime only has 12 episodes).
@@kaijucifer3544 Dante doesn't even really use gun-kata. He just shoots stylishly, his iconic arm crossing when aiming his pistols in two different directions is just that - crossing his arms so he can shoot. He doesn't implement dodges or anything during his moves and that's the primary reason for using gun-kata (as introduced in the movie Equilibrium from 2002). Hajime does the exact same thing and since Ryo Shirakome (LN author) first published Arifureta web novel as "chuuni suki" ("Chuuni lover"), it's even clearer that Hajime was heavily inspired by all things chuuni (and Dante does fit this criteria, what with his stylish combat moves, semi-immortal. handsome demon heritage and tragic relationship with his equally badass brother). Edit: BTW DMC1 came out a year before Equilibrium movie. Dante could've been one of the inspirations for gun-kata.
This song always reminds me of the time he rescues myu from the slavers.... to be fair the anime creators should pf make his face into look like a demons face with fire comming from his eyes to show his hate for his enemies
@@rain9058 The intro makes me think of the mission "Outbreak" particularly at the end as the refugees flee Meinhoff. After 1:20 "Maw of the Void" where you have to fight through the rip-fields that slowly kill your units comes to mind. The Battlecruisers yelling "Abandon Ship!" as they enter the decay field really hits hard at 1:45. Of course, Nagumo Hajime would probably fit right in with the Terran "don't give a flip, shoot first, ask questions later" mentality.
this is so underrated..

Rating of anime is 6.51 whereas light novel's rating is 8.3
@@shivambembey5638 agreed, the show was nice but it definitely could have been better.
They took a risk by showing a true anti-hero. One that isnt afraid to kill his enemies. That usualy doesnt always translate very well in animes
@@thargs9184 really? Because i thought most people hate Generic Happy main characters??
My favorite Arifureta OST
WHEN this track comes up you know shit got real
Except when the Bunny wets herself...lol

Dante didn't invent Gun-Kata.

Ngl I started watching Arifureta 2 days ago and I think this is one of my fav osts in anime
it's a shame that the anime is so highly criticized, I mean it has insanely good music
I thought the show was decent, and the soundtrack was amazing!
Honestly, doubters can get bent.
why and how? It's a bad azz show
@@thegale8701 People just don't like it, its been awhile since I saw the criticisms so I completely forgot what they are
also season 2 yay
@@Twiquil those people need to suck it
Waiting for season 2 to come out
We all
Me too, but the manga is not even in the same caps as the anime, it hurts seeing all that chi bad used, and the manga not advancing
@@unknownsoul9300 the anime is based off from the light novel rather than the manga. So might be part of why it seems off
@@thargs9184 True
2022 January season 2!
this was my favorite OSt of Arifureta, until I heard First Revolt
Insane music, insane anime
If you can upload the whole soundtrack that would be awesome. Or at the very least, Thunderdrum would be awesome.
This guy needs more subs
Love this
how can people dislike this???
People who hate vampire loli with a unhealthy passion i guess?

What king of sound is at 0:16? I swear i heard something similar in serial experiments lain.

fr I NEED TOO BRO WE ARE THE SAME THIS SHIT IS SO DIFFERENT
Maybe Saitama's Theme (One Punch-Man)?
I'm looking for a very specific ost, the one where hajime is in the air with myu and the lighting snake thing appear. Anyone know whats it called?
It's called "Thunderdrums" and it got taken off UA-cam a while ago.

Why does this give me Terran vibes from StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty?
From 0:40 - 1:20 it kinda does. But the intro and end it doesn't.
It's not yeehaw cowboys in space enough for SC2.
