Ah Stu been there done that with sinking dog biscuits and the annoying thing is I never thought to test them in a sink before going and to make things worse I didn't have a bloody dog to give them to. Glad you got a couple I the end. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
I LOVE the old 'uns, the character fish; never what you could call good lookers but I love 'em all the more for that! I do not feel quite so affectionate towards the pesky ducks though!
Looks idyllic and so peaceful.
Very peaceful Mark, you should give it a bash sometime.
Well angled SK! Perseverance proved to be the key... I do love to see the gnarly old residents. Thank you for sharing. G :-)
Glad you enjoyed it, appreciate your kind words.
Nice video Stu, maybe you could convert those sinking mixers into a paste for a bit of touch ledgering?
Great idea, I'll give that a whirl. At the very least they can be used as they are as carpet feed.

Sometimes the best laid plans and all that. Cheers Clive, be good mate!!
sorry it didn't go to plan but some cracking fish you got good work
Cheers Richard, yeah I usually manage to winkle something out, even if things don't always go to plan.
An exciting way of carping--if you can avoid ducks, turtles, etc.
Yeah, ducks and swans are a real pain here!!
I live down the road from here how do I go about joining and what size they go now, nice videos btw (tight lines)
Hi, you need to check out the RN RM CAA website for membership details. Think the carp go to mid twenty, but loads of small ones in there.

Yep, we loves a character fish. Ducks, not so much!
What is the name of the floating dog biscuits that you usually use ?
I use Bakers Meaty meals, Small Dog in Beef Flavour.
