I love how you discuss being intentional and how outfit choices lead to a certain "vibe", because that is an important aspect of wearing clothes that sometimes gets missed. Great ideas, as always!
I'm so excited you did this video! My wardrobe is 90% black because it goes with everything and it's what I feel the most confident in. Some people in my family give me hard time about it, but I usually get a lot of compliments on what I wear so I think I'm doing something right! Thanks, miss Audrey! 💚
I’m an older woman. Have worn black all my life - I love it to this day. Yes, I still get flack from family about it so my answer to that is I have the same privilege as everyone else to dress with what makes me feel good and comfortable as they do with their choices. I also got flack about my hair going gray and it’s still gray. I’ve also get flack because I don’t wear “enough” makeup. I still don’t. I also get flack because my hair is long. It’s still long. I have the satisfaction O being true to myself and confident enough not to transform into someone they consider “the norm or what’s best for me”. Bless their hearts for trying but I’m a happy camper just the way I am.
I love wearing all black! My sartorial choices can be along the lines of Sicilian widow during the hotter months - as long as the garments are light and flowy, it works - for me, at least.
@@lorigraham2496 my brother is like that too , a pale red head. I’m more strawberry blonde and I can tan a little (though I try not to now that I’m in my 30s)
Loved this! I so appreciate the concept of “creating a story” as opposed to “this is right and this is wrong”. There is no wrong. Fashion is a unique and personal expression of ourselves and you have completely captured that. Consistently love your style and your beautiful heart shines through continually as well! 🙏✨❤️
I wear black to travel or eating out at messy dining venues…like Italian. It covers tomato sauce splatter and olive oil rather well. Accent with colorful pocketbook or scarf.
I love your personality and how you portray fashion as an opportunity to explore oneself without judgment or making fun of others choices (unlike a lot of people who claim to preach how to be elegant or fashionable by just making fun of other women - so not elegant) ❤️
Wow can we just take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate your softly spoken tone in delivering your presentation. It is so amazingly calming and tranquil. I too love, love black, but also wear a lot of black and white. Definitely agree with using different textures when wearing all black to create more interesting. Thank you for this video. Coral👍🏾
I really want to try mixing up the texture of my black pieces, but I''m going to have to wait for winter for it work for me. However, I recently saw an Instagram story by Allison Bornstein about styling a black dress in summer, and she used woven basket style bags, bright jewelry, and casual shoes, which I loved and immediately started planning in my own wardrobe.
One of my favorite wearing all black quotes from the 1940 - 1950s film noir genre “Only femme fatales wear black during the day “. I was a teen during the late 70s early 80s and when I wore an all black outfit to school I got a LOT of reactions. Some thought it was cool and others tried to make fun of me. Now all black is a fashion staple and I still wear it even in the summer. Love all the suggestions especially the different textures and silhouettes. Please do more 💕
It's been a while since I've worn an all black outfit, but these tips are really helpful! I especially love adding pops of color to an all black outfit; red seems to be my go-to color of choice. Thank you for the inspiration, Audrey 😊💖
Thank you Audrey I too like black and have many beautiful pieces and dresses that I used often . Black is my favorite clothing and I do feel comfortable wearing black .
Really great video. I find it so much easier to wear all black. I really wish I could pull off all-white, but it always turns out see-through and showing off all my oblong bumps, outlines, blemishes, and misplaced interior pockets. Black conceals more, and it's so much easier. (I'd still love to nail some white outfits, though.)

Yes! Black makes me look drained...but charcoal esp works for me and imo is a much more elegant color. Don't tell Audrey tho'🤫🤫😂😂
I feel like you are me when i try to be as clear and concise while using my hands to also help me communicate my points ❤️
I enjoyed this video. The top that you're wearing is the perfect black top. Where did you find it?
I would love to know too. LOVE the neckline ❤️
Hi can you list the links to the clothes you are wearing? I find it SO helpful! Thank you
How about videos on leopard print, or gold clothes?
@Random Thoughts why?
Brown and beige are often neglected colors too
I usually wear (and love all black) - easy, classy, cool. The only drawback are the people who feel compelled to ask me whose funeral I am dressed for. My stock response is to glance around the room, shrug, and reply, “I haven’t decided yet.”
So many gorgeous outfits! Also this lady is the best 👏. I really love this channel 💙
Loved this & the other video styling all white outfits 🤍 Thanks for the inspiration!
I used to wear black shorts and t-shirt with a statement belt and it was always commented on as looking good. I have to wear black to work now and I hate it but this has given me some inspiration to stop it from boring me to death
Always thoughtful, polished, informative and beautifully delivered. Love this and so many great ideas 😍😍
