Man, thank you so much for this video. Somehow my belt belt connection got stuck under the seat when I took it into a shop for an issue. I undid the from bolts, lifted the seats up, and slipped the seatbelt connections up and in place. The Ford dealership was going to charge me $300+ to do the same thing. Thank you again!!
I hate this SUV so much! Never been so disappointed in a Ford Product Ever. This video was helpful to me as I need to remove the rear seat for detail work. Thank you for sharing this video. I am not looking forward to taking all this time to remove those seats.
I may be doing this to my 2013 Escape Titanium. Thanks so much for sharing this as I'm sure it will help others considering this conversion like myself. I can't wait to see you use your newly converted Escape to camp in. I'm sure I will get more tips from your experience. You earned my sub for sure! Great job and thanks again Bob!
Thank you, I'm glad it was helpful for you! I don't think I had it even a full week before I was tearing those seats out, haha! Don't forget those sneaky bolts that you have to lift the seat for, clearly those had me a little stumped. I've got bunch of ideas for this thing which I'll likely start getting to soon now that fall is here and I get chased into the garage by the cold. Thanks for the sub, I hope you find the next ones helpful as well and good luck with your conversion!
Hello. Could you tell me the dimensions of extra space now? You know from length back of seats to tail gate. Also the height from plastic of where spare is to ceiling.
Hey sick vid, figure make a fat focus out of the ford escape. weight reduction seems easy on such a light car already. Ford made the FE super light its badass for a cuv. One question, was was the weight of the removed items??? Making a new project and if I could knock 500 of this shit I already know I'm in the 6 seconds without the tune
@@foxr2760 It's Power Fist 120v-60Hz 7.5A, 345ft-lb. I did struggle a bit with one of the seatbelt bolts but after a little back and forth, it broke loose.
An impact wrench! It'll save you so much trouble. Definitely a good tool to have around. Try borrowing one from a friend if you won't need it for anything else. Most home improvement stores will rent out tools like that too! Good luck!
@@adventureswithcrohns9778 great thanks I’ll buy one tomorrow as I’m also having issues removing bolts from ranger seats, I buy and sell and I struggle with bolts all the time! My little torque wrench ain’t doing it lol

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Will come in handy when I replace 2 seat buckle latches next week.

Sounds like I should get a job at a ford dealership! 😂Anyway, glad it helped!
This is the same reason why I’m watching this video! Thank you man!!!
Good lord! So many bolts! Great video, thank you.
More than I expected for sure! Hope this helps!

Drills are nice. might save you some time on those bolts if you invested in one.
Great how to video, might be better with a little more light, but thanks for the ideas.
Yeah, I'll definitely be fixing the lighting situation for future videos. Thanks for watching!

I didn't weigh anything. Likely not 500 but that shit wasn't light either!
