Studs from manifold to exhaust pipe are Dorman part# 03117 exhaust flange hardware kit.
so in this case in the video that was the part replace right . just the studs ??

And for the rest of us that live in the rust belt, north, nuts and studs almost rusted away. Get a torch in there, drill out broken studs etc. ????? What do you do ???? Step one, remove engine.
you weld nuts over the broken stud and take it out like that, drilling takes an eternity and you're unlikely to get it straight

What if the front 2 and rear 2 studs are broke off in the head? which is usaully the case. What then big boy?

What's the torque spec? 7 or 8 ft lbs? My hanes says 18ft lbs. Other videos say 106 inch pounds. For the manifold studs.
While getting my catalytic converters fixed should they drop the exhaust manifold?

No! That is ridiculous. There are two large donut gaskets that will be taken apart at the bottom of the manifolds which connects to the rest of the exhaust. There is absolutely no reason to detach the manifolds from the engine block to replace any catalytic converter.
OMG wow once again Ford blows my mind with how Retarded their engineers are. The Cats are part of the manifolds? Go fuck yourself ford.
Do you recommend doing both sides?

Is the passenger side the same?
+seth del Yes, the installation process should be very similar.
My 07’s manifolds were too rusted out to do anything but have to yank the motor out to do the job. 😢

+Jermaine Cooper It can vary depending on where you bring your vehicle. I recommend you give some reputable mechanics in your area to get a quote, or at least get their hourly rate.
