Thank you for the advice. I’ll keep this in the back of my mind.

It only makes sense. Ore deposits are electric circuits in the earth.

Thanks for taking your time to share a small smidgen of knowledge and information you carry in and with you Sir.
Taking this concept as a metaphor and applying it to other areas in life might be fun too.

I was in Montana running a swather on a ranch west of Dillon.
We had a cloud come from the west on a regular basis.
A south facing slope would start receiving the lightning
and it was on the side, not the top every time.
I was close, and did not worry about the minerals there.
I was afraid I was about to get hit.
    Thanks

There will be a difference in colour or brightness between the two polarities.

A bit of both really after further thought. It's fascinating stuff! It could be different colours or brightness. What are your thoughts?

@@branni6538 From personal observation, + lightning is more white or it could be that it is just brighter, Kind of like hitting a lightbulb with a 130v over 120v.
Now the cool thing is that + lightning will travel miles and miles away from where it began. You've probably heard the term Blue Lightning, it is not blue it is that it can travel to areas well away from the storm, and in clear skies, it is an amazing sight.

Yes in the Bradshaw's. There are several high-iron content areas that we just haven't found yet.

I should hold a steel rod during a lightning storm when I'm prospecting for gold out in the mountains.
    Got it thanks 😊

Florida should be bountiful if lightening causes gold.

I think he's suggesting that consistent lightning strikes on an area hint at veins. Electricity going towards the conductive gold.
