I think we know what we're going to get from the new additions. I think if we want to take that next step, we'll need our draft picks to continue the progress they've shown the last couple of years
I agree. We dont need Curry to come out guns blazing. We seen how that worked out last year.. he hit the gas too early and flamed out towards the end. We just need him to hit the gas after the allstar break.
Ignore the haters bro. A good video. I think the team has more potential than others seem to. The key is, assuming you have a lot of decent shooters, to jack up a lot of threes, and that's what Kerr has said he wants to do. This team ought to be number one in league history in three pointers taken if they have Steph, Hield Waters at the elite level and darned good shooting from six or seven other guys. Melton Podz Moody Wiggins Kuminga Draymond have all had moments when they can really hit the three -- will they do so this year remains to be seen. I would point out that when you say Draymond has had off-court issues, that seems not quite right. He seems like an ordinary if loudmouth guy off the court, but has many times lost his shit on the court. He also seems to have reformed from that in the small sample size since his therapy break so we'll see if that holds. I also wouldn't say that Podz learned all that much from CP. From the moment Podz stepped out there as a rookie he looked like a veteran PG
Great call out on Dray, I think I just used the word "off-court" as in his suspensions/not being with the team, etc. Also fair assumption about Podz, but I think he did learn a bit from CP3 especially in the pick and roll. If you see our current roster...Podz might be our top pick and roll ball handler. I'd imagine he learned a thing or two from CP3 about maximizing that sophomore connection with TJD. But just my speculation
I know I did and thought about it, but I feel like we know what we're gonna get from him and didn't want to make my video too long after 10 min. I'll catch the L tho if people are really bothered haha, so my fault
Wiggs needs to pull it together. I can't remember much about him during the preseason. Andrew needs to be professional, no matter. He's getting paid $30 million and lives in a great city. It's like Wiggins had 1 good year with GSW! Send him to the Charlotte Hornets already.
Why Wiggs? that guy was 2 years ago..no recent sightings. Play the young guys - JK, Moses, Waters, Santos, - all could replace him IF Kerr would play them with a green light. Same as 2 yrs expecting Klankin Klay to "come back".
Lol. Haven't they tried to trade Kuminga enough times? They didn't get Lauri either. I think at this point there are no superstars to even trade Kuminga for (and no I am not a fan of trading him)
I don't know much about Waters besides his minimal OKC days, so I'm not going to put out a preview/expectations haha. I doubt he's going to play much, but here's to proving me wrong I guess
I commented below too haha, I know I did and thought about it, but I feel like we know what we're gonna get from him and didn't want to make my video too long after 10 min. I'll catch the L tho if people are really bothered haha, so my fault
I’ve been super disappointed in the analysis as it relates to the dubs, it’s basically just hyping up jk and putting down everyone else. Wiggs will be a monster this year!
Where have I "hyped up" JK?? All I said was if the Warriors want to return to form and get to that next level, JK is the one that needs to rise up. It shouldn't be expected from Wiggins anymore, we know what we're going to get from him
@@warriorsbreakdown why shouldn’t we have those expectations from Wiggins, and my apologies I was talking about the analysis from numerous warriors channels. Wiggins is 29 years old and after the passing of his father he can be present for the team 100 percent. Jk is essential no doubt about it but if wiggs isn’t the #2 player to Steph we will at best be in the play in
@@lawrencerobinson5842 No worries haha. Because IMO Wiggins's realistic expectations are what I described in the video, 16 PPG and solid defense. I don't think he'll be able to be that second option if the Warriors want to a) make the playoffs and b) go deep. I think it's way more likely for JK to take that jump, and we saw a glimpse of that last year
@@warriorsbreakdown I saw jk lost on offense and defense doing a lot of isolation plays and not really understanding the motion offense. Hence Kerr trying to simplify things, that being said jk is important I see him at 18 ppg and Wiggins at 22 ppg
Lol... draymond has been the second best player for the majority of the dynasty....the second best player in 22 expect for the playoff when Wiggins took over the 2nd spot... JK needs to be traded he doenst really bring anything except athleticism...he not smart and Wiggins is just a way better player....the person that needs to prioritized is Moody he fits way more in the system!
Draymond was not the second best player from 2017-2019. He barely played in 20, you can make an argument in 2021. But in 22 it was more or less Wiggins, with Draymond a close 3rd
@warriorsbreakdown yep in the west finals and the finals yes Wiggins was the second best player.....but all other playoffs and season minus the KD time yes he was unquestioned the second best warriors....it was klay but klay did his thing game 6 of OKC series and the Raptors game 5 before he got hurt.
Feel free to unsub as it's my opinion. I've watched every single game, and if you think my expectation of "oh let's play our lottery pick more minutes since he's playing well vs. a waste in Cory Joseph" and another expectation of "Stop punching teammates and other NBA players Draymond" is a bashing narrative, feel free to leave my channel. I can't imagine that is too high of a bar to expect from your veteran/former all-star DPOY
That seems to be what most fans feel.. trade dray, wiggs, loon for whatever trade value. Dray is the cancer of the team. Wiggs is burned out, off court family life destroyed his fire for the game. There are younger players better now(moses). Loon is just old, injured, slow, lots of miles.
Draymond, Wiggins, Kuminga, Moody are fine as they are. You can’t force people to be like YOU want them to be. I hope it’s the last time on your channel.

I’m confident the new additions are going to play hard. Just need Kuminga / Wiggins to lock in and give maximum effort in defense and rebounding.
They’re professionals.

I don't think at this point of his career we should ask Steph to keep guns blazing, I'm not sure he even can for an extensive period of time haha

I agree, but eventually I'm no longer going to have my hopes up haha. I think 16 PPG for Wigs is realistic
Lindy Waters is the sleeper! If he gets minutes, he will make an impact.
He'll be an interesting one. He's gonna have to earn his minutes the most obviously out of everyone
We want to see an aggressive WIGGS Dunking on the face of opponents

Can Melton play healthy even with back issues occurring since the previous years?
Not sure about his injury history but...hopefully haha
Andrew Wiggins isn't even 30 he should be balling out!
Right but by now we know who he is. He is a 2nd option at best and regularly a 3rd/4th option on a winning team
