  • Flower farmer Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers in south east Somerset in England shows you what she's getting up to in the garden in mid February.
With tips and warnings for seed sowing, pruning budleja, planting bulbs 'in the green,' and pruning roses Georgie takes you for a quick tour and shows you what she's up to.
She's sowing only seeds which are: slow to germinate, like a bit of bottom heat to get going, take a long season to flower, are very hardy so won't mind being planted out as soon as they're big enough.
It's warm (for February,) and no frost forecast so that's why she's pruned the roses.
With her new Rode microphone and see below the tip re watching with captions Georgie is celebrating achieving 5,000 subscribers by upping her UA-cam game a little while of course keeping her down-to-earth approach to gardening, flower farming, and life.
A hopefully useful tip if you'd like to see captions - look at the various symbols at the bottom of the viewing screen. If you hover over the 'cc' logo you will see it offers the option for subtitles / closed captions. Click this and you will see the subtitles / closed captions appear.
