How a Linear Power Supply Works - 2019

Do you work in an Industrial facility?
If you do, then you have seen a Linear power supply. Most of the time, linear power supplies are the first thing to go bad.
Anything that uses electronics, requires some sort of power supply to power it up. In this video, I do a walk through of how a linear power supply works from the input to the output and I show you what I would do if there was an issue and I would need to troubleshoot it.

question . while measuring the rectifier input if I accidentally put one side of the lead on the output and the other on the input will I damage the diodes or will it just be an inaccurate reading ? ?
