The 'D' ring stitching looks to be a weak point on the BARE STEEL handles, whereas the ROGUE stitching solves the issue of stitching tearing over time, and the fact that ROGUE doubled the webbing is going to make for a durable product...but yeah, 25mm...what were you thinking ROGUE? I just ordered a pair of "J Bryant" handles on Amazon that incorporate the double layered webbing and the same 'D' ring stitching of the ROGUE handle, with what appears to be a larger diameter contoured aluminum handle for less than half the price of the BARE STEEL handles. Hopefully they are as good as they look and are durable and long lasting.
edit: before I use them, I'm going to take a half round file to the inside contour to make sure that it is free of rough edges that can come into contact with the webbing.
Yeah the best ones I have seen so far are the Beltfed strength leather straps with a handles od your choice. I used Giant 28mm and fat trap bar handles
I looked at these options, but ultimately went a bit higher end. I grabbed some leather handle straps from Beltfed Strength and a set of handles from Giant designed for their open trap bar. Really nice quality. The Giant set comes with 4 handles so I might turn the extra pair into a nunchuck style handle.
Yeah I know Chip aka Figjamexerciser on IG did the same thing. I think He is why the beltfed ones exist now. He had a DIY version and then ordered them custom from Beltfed. I think all in those are more expensive so those are nice, but I don’t consider them budget options. Glad you love them Beltfed is awesome I got 2 of his belts and some utility straps. I got the BFAS aka “The Gluck Strap” coming soon.
@@carps_gym oh absolutely not budget! Though the Giant handles don’t break the bank.l at $40 shipped with 4 handles. So think all in on two handles I was at $75 which is a little cheaper than the Rogue handles!
And yeah, I got the idea from Chip and also seeing what nice like Mike did with his Kaz handles.

Why you gotta hate on Fisher Price 😂. I agree with you that the Rogue’s are slick looking but the 25mm handle is a dealbreaker, like you said. I was between BareSteel and Steadfast Lifting. I have the tricep push down from them and the powder coat has great grip, so I ended up with them. Currently waiting for them. But I’m sure Bare Steel has a great product. Forgot to mention, well done on this video. Lots of good b-reel.
Yeah, Bare Steel looks like the better choice now because steadfast disappeared

I have a pair of the rogue handles and I really do like them a lot, however I do agree the diameter of 25 mm is somewhat small. I have a really nice pair of handles from Black Iron Strength and they are really nice but very expensive $126.00 each!! I think I bought those when I first opened my gym and wanted something high quality for my clients to use in my gym. Not sure I would go that route again. I also have a couple pair from Rep Fitness that they sent me with the Ares Functional trainer, but they are not very good quality compared to the Rogue and Black Iron Strength handles. The Bare Steel Equipment handles look nice but do I really need 6 pair of D handles? I also have a pair from Mark bell Sling Shot called "Shake Handle attachments" and they are kind of cool for certain exercises as they kind of stretch.

How does the knurl on the updated Bare Steel Equipment d handles compare to Rep Fitness's version? I see they are almost identical in price (after your discount).
The reps ones are a beefier than I expected. It’s like a medium knurl also

Yeah it would be cool if they could make a Hammer Handle knurling on a cable attachment, but they would probably have to be steel and likely be more expensive than rogue, but they would be sweet.
I have the hammer handle as well and agree the knurling is awesome. I may go ahead and check their 32mm D handles as well.
