Call me crazy, but I had a dream where the creators of Doom 2016/Eternal did a collab with the original team of Duke 3D, birthing the revenge of Duke. Sound done by Mick Gordon, Andrew Hulshult and Lee Jackson. Tracks from varying 3D realms games were covered, some new tracks here and there. Humor intact, not afraid to offend any crowd but not making it obvious that it is. Movie and game references, casual gore, some boobs... but again, not too much to make it obvious. We just want Duke back, no hype, just Duke out of nowhere.
Yes, I wish Gearbox would revive the Duke. Shadow Warrior got the Doom Eternal treatment, just imagine how amazing a new Duke Nukem game would be in that style.
This Theme Remake is truly awesome to me. The Beginning is both wonderful and epic. The Middle - good adaptation of famous, original Duke's Theme which in the end give some space to drums, guitars and some portion of good metal. It should be added as some kind of feature during boss fights in Duke Nukem Forever or their expansion packs for example. Good job, mate. May the Balls of Steel be with you! :-D
Randy Pitchford both created and killed Duke Nukem, THANKS RANDY! ( Edit : He was a level designer on Duke 3D, he didn't CREATE Duke but he was a key factor in popularizing the franchise )

Also, they fought long and hard for Duke Nukem's IP because of 3DRealms lack of legal awareness. They just got done with yet another lawsuit for another legal issue because of 3DR. I heard Duke3D on switch plays very well for what it is and hopefully they realize that there's still a market for Duke Nukem.

It's just, so Duke nukem. The beggining sounds like an epic orchestra, something you can picture Duke in a procession with babes throwing flowers at him as a god. And then the raw combat song, which nonetheless being the good old Duke, introduces some guitar tricks to make it feel both refreshing and have that juvenile power fantasy that he represents. And then the song goes back and forth between the orchestral glorious sounds and the rock elements. It has, by the middle, some raising tension, it's upping the stakes, it's an all or nothing, perhaps a last stand, and ends in a more raw duke nukem theme, as if in the end, only Duke shall stand.
I love the orchestal build up for the drop being that badass, as good as always Andrew. But to be fair, even if this slaps, it's pretty noticeable the improvement you had in the Dusk soundtrack. I'll always love your music ngl

Video Game MOVIES are a thing as of late. Sonic, Uncharted, and to less of a degree Detective Pikachu got their franchises noticed. If a Duke Nukem Movie with the wokies FAR removed from it did well, the precedent to reboot the video game would be restored.
