A nice looking car particularly just having the front as it is. A full bar with removable hoops for when around town would be the go. Not sure if you mentioned that on a previous video.

Nice Ppf but I got a quote for about $10,000 for my Troopy from this place which is crazy ,I noticed you haven’t mentioned how much yours would cost

Every individual vehicle is different, and the cost will vary quite a bit depending on how much preparation/paint decontamination & correction a car will need. We've had 'new' cars that have spent time on the road already, but only needed a single-stage correction before protection. Conversely we've also had pre-delivery new cars not yet registered that have needed two, three or more stages of correction because of poor dealership handling or railroad/transport iron fallout contamination for example - these jobs take considerably longer, which naturally affects the price.
The other thing to consider is material cost. A Troopy is one of the most expensive vehicles to wrap because of its large panel surface areas. A 76, or other smaller car with more glass and less panel surface area is naturally going to be much cheaper.
We can't go around online saying that "every Landcruiser costs $10k to wrap" for example, because on one end that could be undercharging a car that's more used/needs more work, and on the other end we could equally be overcharging a car that needs less prep work. This is why we prefer to quote cars in-person, where we can measure and inspect the paint condition and give a more accurate quote, and why any initial quote can be subject to change once we have the car, to reflect its condition.
Feel free to pop in for a visit and we can measure/inspect your paint free of charge, or get in contact with our office and we'd be happy to answer any of your questions.
      Hope this helps! 😊

@@MADinc so how much would have you charged a non celebrity customer to do exactly what you did to Ronny’s car

Again, every vehicle will be different.
For example, it took us 4 hours to dismantle the accessories from Ronny's car which is time that we needed to account for when charging him on top of the price of other prep plus PPF install.
If for the sake of an example we pretend that a car has no aftermarket accessories fitted, doesn't need much heavy decontamination from off-roading, only needs a single stage paint correction, and all other parameters are the same as how Ronny was charged for his car - then you could expect a 76 Series Wagon like Ronny's to cost $10,982 for detailing/prep, dismantling, full-car PPF install, interior detailing/protection coatings and exterior ceramic coatings, or a 78 Series Troop Carrier to cost $11,862 for the same processes. Keep in mind that we also include access to a courtesy vehicle, and a two week post-install complementary PPF inspection & full detail at no additional cost.
As mentioned above, we prefer to quote in-person so we can be as accurate as possible. Any other pricing given is a guide only and needs to be understood in context.
      Hope this helps! 😊

It would be great to get a explanation how ceramic coating lasts for ever I find this hard to believe.
Can you explain how it is able to not breakdown it’s very expensive to get done I was quoted $2500 for my Tesla but I’m not convinced it’s a one off application interestingly not Many people that do ceramic coatings were prepared to say it would pretect my paint against bird droppings
Tesla paint is very soft and gets echoed almost instantly bird dropping hit the paint
What’s the life span of PPF I’m told 5 years is this correct .

      Great questions! Long story short:
      - A ceramic coating doesn't last forever.
      - XPEL PPF has a 10-year lifespan.
How long a coating lasts, and how effective it is depends hugely on the use of the vehicle, the maintenance of the coating (washing the car) and what brand/type of coating you choose. Indeed it's expensive, so be sure to research the coatings that detailers are offering, and check if a detailer is qualified by the manufacturer. Many detailers will just use off-the-shelf coatings or whatever coating they can get their hands on 😂.
We're a GYEON Certified Detailer, and we use their top coating which is called Infinite. It's the world's only fluoro-polysilazane ceramic coating, and it's dual-layer which means it's thicker than other commercially available coatings, and chemically resistant to things like bird droppings no worries. Remember that a coating is designed to protect your paint, but can still degrade overtime if you don't take care of it. An acidic bird dropping that's left sitting for an extended time may still degrade the coating over time and leave that part of the paint unprotected even though there wouldn't be any marks/damage in the actual paint. A coated car that lives outside and gets driven every day is going to need much more careful and regular washing/maintenance than a coated car that lives in a garage and only gets driven on weekends.
We have many other videos on our channel that explore these kinds of topics, here's a few that'll help you get started :)
