Nimesh Sujathan Definitely :) it goes really well that colour combo really suits it and the red leather is stunning like a wine red colour :). I like how space grey looks different depending on the light as well can pick out the blue in the colour at times
thats why i bought a 325i n53 last month . dark blue with black alus, white leather and black interior its my 3rd bmw. still miss my 325i e36 but dont miss 528i from 1998. sadly most bmw are diesels nowadays..shame
I am sad that BMW has stopped the e92! But I'm happy to get it in 34min. Even more happy to see so many people who approve of my choice. Thanks god that I am e92 series generation guy and will have the chance to feel thous driving sensations.
I have a remapped 335d E92 (340bhp). A few months ago I test drove an Audi A8 3.0 litre. After the drive I told the salesman I would call him tomorrow and make him an offer. I got back in my Beemer, drove it for a mile, and though "WTF am I thinking!!!".
5 years later and this video is still relevant. Quite possibly, outside the M3, the best car BMW has made. I have the one with N55 engine and M-sport and it is the PERFECT blend.
Just bought one, 3 series 2010 model m Sport coupe. Could easely buy a more recent model, but I just love the design of this model. It's so elegant and feels great to drive. Had a coupe dolphin in the past as well.
I’ve just put a deposit down on a 2012 330d coupe sports plus. I can not wait to collect in a weeks time. The test drive alone was just awesome. From slow and quite trip through town to the thump in the back acceleration on a B road it performed beautifully. I just couldn’t stop grinning 😊. This will be my third 3 series, I’m looking forward to getting to know it. And great review fella.

I have an e93 convertible. So reliable and well built. A joy to drive. Best cup holders ever ! Oh and thanks to your great review, I bought a Macan as well. Porsche V6 not as smooth as my e93 inline 6 despite 275,000 km on the Bmw !
I love my 2013 BMW 328i coupe. It's gorgeous and handles like a dream. I bought it used in 2016 and because of the high number of leases turned in at the three-year mark, I got an incredible deal, less than half the new MSRP.
I have a montego blue 335i coupe 6 speed, for 7 years now, still love it and take good care of it, I test drove the new 2018 335i sedan and it's just not as good, yes it's quicker, but the steering feel isn't there. They lost touch of what made BMW special and addictive... I'm keeping this car, probably for good.
professionally done review by an unknown guy. i have this car for about 4 years and it is constantly broken...every second week there is something. it costed me fortune and the power was full at only about 1/5 time of ownership as it suffers from boost and vacuum issues. all the cars have this fault based on bmw forum and the worst is that diagnostics never show a fault and many times it goes unnoticed so some people actually complain about the lag, which is not existent when the car is running good, which it rarely is. he said, it has heavy steering, but i have active steering option, which makes is very light in the city yet stiffens on a highway in higher speeds. if this car have full power, it's a good car, but trust me, all 35d bmw engines are losing boost and vacuum and are all underpowered, and even bmw dealerships cant fix it, because they think it is the way it should be....;-) coz they don't even know how it drives, as their technicians drive skoda fabia, (at least in slovakia)

The most beautiful and classy BMW ever made. And the last normally aspirated inline six (in the 325 and 330). I have the 330i with 272 bhp, plenty enough power, this thing goes like a rocket, coming from a SEAT Leon CupraR with a turbo petrol engine. What a fine machine. The beautiful music coming from the engine when revved, the ability to be a comfy cruiser when driven softly and a precise racer when pushed hard. Even the standard professional sound system actually sounds very good and balanced. The interior is refined and minimalist, the way I like it. They can be had so cheap today. Driving it around still feels special.

Well.. I don't have complains about the look of the car it is still a dream, but I kind of miss the tradition behind the 3series coupe, as I said it was a legend, benchmark in its class like Mercedes G-wagen. May be I'm just more traditional but there is too much marketing behind 4 series instead some feeling and I respect...

the hard top convertibles DEFOOO look better than the coupes in my opinon, its got a different shape, looks alot better, a spoiler on the boot is a must though

Ha - yes the Harmon is great - if you go on the forums you can get a set up - small tweaks make it nice. Really nice sound when you get used to it. For years they never got it right but its great now.
Great review. I have a silver, manual '56 325i N52 straight six engine and I absolutely love it. Pride and joy and its my daily driver. I've had it for two years and done over 40,000 miles with hardly a thing going wrong. I'd love to keep it forever, just for that sweet straight six sound. Though a part of me thinks I'll need to succumb to the reality of the 4 series at some point. There's always the LCI model like the one in your video I suppose! :)
I've got a deep sea blue 2011 328i coupe. I absolutely love this car. It replaces my e46 328ci. It's just...beautiful and a dream to drive. Wish it were a manual tho
I have the 325d 2011 model and I love it! I’ve had it 4 years now and I still love it, it’s beautiful and an absolute pleasure to drive. Wouldn’t buy a BMW again though, only because they’ve not made another one as nice as this one (except the expensive m3 and m4 of course).
Great video. I have a 335d E91 (touring) and I have to say its the best car i´ve owned. I actually went back to the E91 after having the new 320d F31. The E9x just feels sharper in al aspects and the comfort is almost the same as the new one. Of course the F31 is more refined and updated but it has become maybe a bit too comfy, a bit like an A4 or C-Class. :-) For me the 335d (in my case the Touring) has to be the optimal car. Good looking, enormous power, space for the family and still an ok fuel economy.
+Howard Ritchie Yes I would say so. Hating it is maybe a bit over the top :-) Its a good car. It just didn´t excite me. But when driving 35k km a year it did a good job. Just like my 335d a lot more. especially with 330hp and 680nm.
I have 2006 330i sedan. Beautiful car visually and mechanically and will never sell it. I love every minute I drive it. In my opinion, bmw has yet to surpass the balance between style design, engineering, character and emotion of the bangle/F1 era cars: from 3, 5, 6, 7, M, Z and X series. A golden age for bmw, as much as they try to put the bangle years behind them.

And a 325i m sport coupe I think its a ver good option. The actuals 3 series doesn't drive like this generation in my opinion. I think the 1 series coupe and 3 series coupe in some years will be an amazing classic cars. Sorry if I have some ortographic issues.
With reference to the Steering Vs a 320d - the 335 has hydraulic assisted steering, the 320d has electric steering. The hydraulic system offers the driver more feel, where as the electric system (although pretty good on BMWs) feels numb in comparison. A little heavier in town is the trade off for a better feel when driving ;)
OOO - top comment... Ok in that case... do you know why my 535d is heavy steering then? I prefer the electric ... how do you know this and what cars have electric? I know the 640d does it feels more "luxuirous" good tips man where were you during the script!
If you go to realoem.com you can view everything fitted to the car. Drilling down to the steering system, you can view what is used on that model. The 535 will be more weighty as its hydraulic, it may also benefit from a fluid change :) Nice review btw - very professional :)
I just got an e92 330i M Sport and it's a stunning car. Mine is blue with a cream leather interior and she sits on 19s. I've been waiting 3 days to get her taxed but now she is I'm going out for my first proper drive in her tomorrow and I cannot wait. I loved my old e46 320i coupe but this is on a whole nutha level, it's so much more modern and refined. The biggest difference though is the auto box, it's going to take some getting used to after years of driving a manual but she does have the paddle shifters as well so we'll see how it goes. I didn't think I'd ever like a car more than my e46 but I think this has done it☺
I love the E9x generation. I have a 2006 E90 330d with 6-speed manual transmission and a Stage 1 tune. 270 hp and 625 Nm of torque. It's a beast and i absolutely love it. The hole car is build to last and is the most reliable car i've ever owned. Much more reliable than my E46 convertible...

Great video. I say this everyday, I really miss the 3 series coupes. Now that the 4 series has gran coupes ( basically a sedan one could argue) they are their own series. They should bring back 3 series coupes and I think they eventually will. 4 series are great but not as a replacement to the 3’s.
After seeing your video. I bought e92 325i. Offcouse with full options available on it, including sunroof and red leather. Love the car. Only regret should have gone for 330i 😂 but still.... Thank you.
Nice video and nice car! I drive a 330i e90 automatic myself and been loving it! The naturally aspirated inline 6 is a piece of engine engineering art! I feel like BMW 'dumbed it down' with the new models with 4 cylinder turbos and turned towards Audis and stuff which isn't really that much into my liking. Sure I'll probably get the newer 3-series eventually when I let my current one go but I already know I'm gonna miss the inline 6...
I just recently bought the 328 with facelift and I must say. i am extremely happy with everything about this car. BMW nailed it with all aspects of the car. Design, performance, interior styling. I went to a bmw dealer to test drive the M235i and the 440. Honestly, after driving both of them. I was very happy to get back in my 328i. The M235 had a lot of power but it wasn't refined like the 328. In the 328 everything was balanced and worked together. The m235 was just a all out screamer with no compromise. It was a fun car to drive but I don't think I could listen to that exhaust note all the time. The size was a major factor too. It felt as if you were in a box. Granted I know it was designed to replace the 1 series. The 428 was roomier but it was very top heavy and lacked power. There was a lot of turbo lag too. i didn't get a chance to test drive the 6 cylinder but from feeling all the weight that was on that car I know it wouldn't make much of a difference. There is the design too. I am sure most people will agree that the design of the new 4 series cars are not attractive at all. I really don't know what to make of the design. Not sure which direction BMW was planning on taking with this line and you can see that in the design. interior wasn't that impressive too. didn't like the design of the dash board or the way it felt when you sit in it. I remember when BMW designed cars that as soon as you see them or sit in them, the first thing that came to your mind was "I have to have one of those". The out going 3 series is one of those cars. the minute you see one it melts on you. then when you sit in it. it felt as if bmw designed this especially for you. I have been a bmw fan for 35 years and I must say. They dropped the ball with this one.
Well, very interesting... Isn't the 328 a two litre? that uses 100 gallons of fuel and doesn't go very fast like the old one in the 90s? Interesting about the note of the exhaust. Hence I wont buy 981 or a golf r - it would get wearing on days when you are in it alot. I did prefer the 235 to drive than any other small bmw... I was actually quite astonished particularly at the steering. You read my mind " I remember when BMW designed cars that as soon as you see them or sit in them, the first thing that came to your mind was "I have to have one of those". Did I say that? I am sure I wanted to. I think I left it out for the sake of car lending early on. Its a massive shame. I have a 535d which is not very nice to drive now I have had it for a year. Heavy steering and leather is not v lux.. However at night... and you see those lovely maps and the orange hue, its nice. I dont think drop the ball. I think business plan change / amend / update but when customers start noticing - they will probably change it back. Case in point 2 series tourer. Nice place to sit!
Very nice video! I currently own a black, M-Package BMW E60 535D, which is a sweet, sweet car. I never thought I would love BMWs. But since I bought it, I think I have found my cup of tea. It's fabulous!
I just gonna bought a 330 D Xdrive LCI, the same you have but with LHD, Black exterior and interior. I dream owning this car from sooooo long, and i think i'm gonna keep it... E92 is a car that make me crazy, and BMW never gonna make a more beautiful car ever... 4 serie look so much "thiner" and more "casual car you see everywhere"...

Its a good car. It just didn´t excite me. But when driving 35k km a year it did a good job.
Just like my 335d a lot more. especially with 330hp and 680nm.
I have 2006 330i sedan. Beautiful car visually and mechanically and will never sell it. I love every minute I drive it.
In my opinion, bmw has yet to surpass the balance between style design, engineering, character and emotion of the bangle/F1 era cars: from 3, 5, 6, 7, M, Z and X series. A golden age for bmw, as much as they try to put the bangle years behind them.
I love this car. I really really love this car. It’s very difficult to justify having much else for daily driving

Amazing video man! Regards from Mexico. I have already a 325i saloon from 2008 and I am ver happy. I have the same question... what car I'm switch it next? And a 325i m sport coupe I think its a ver good option. The actuals 3 series doesn't drive like this generation in my opinion. I think the 1 series coupe and 3 series coupe in some years will be an amazing classic cars. Sorry if I have some ortographic issues.

I can relate to what what you are saying. I have a V8 power house now....still miss my 335D!
With reference to the Steering Vs a 320d - the 335 has hydraulic assisted steering, the 320d has electric steering. The hydraulic system offers the driver more feel, where as the electric system (although pretty good on BMWs) feels numb in comparison. A little heavier in town is the trade off for a better feel when driving ;)
OOO - top comment... Ok in that case... do you know why my 535d is heavy steering then? I prefer the electric ... how do you know this and what cars have electric? I know the 640d does it feels more "luxuirous" good tips man where were you during the script!
If you go to realoem.com you can view everything fitted to the car. Drilling down to the steering system, you can view what is used on that model. The 535 will be more weighty as its hydraulic, it may also benefit from a fluid change :) Nice review btw - very professional :)

I just got an e92 330i M Sport and it's a stunning car. Mine is blue with a cream leather interior and she sits on 19s. I've been waiting 3 days to get her taxed but now she is I'm going out for my first proper drive in her tomorrow and I cannot wait.
I loved my old e46 320i coupe but this is on a whole nutha level, it's so much more modern and refined. The biggest difference though is the auto box, it's going to take some getting used to after years of driving a manual but she does have the paddle shifters as well so we'll see how it goes.
I didn't think I'd ever like a car more than my e46 but I think this has done it☺
I love the E9x generation. I have a 2006 E90 330d with 6-speed manual transmission and a Stage 1 tune. 270 hp and 625 Nm of torque. It's a beast and i absolutely love it. The hole car is build to last and is the most reliable car i've ever owned. Much more reliable than my E46 convertible...
The E92 is an enthusiast's car. It looks mean and is fun to push hard.
I ve got one at same colour. My 325i coupe makes me happy Man. I would never sell it.

Great video. I say this everyday, I really miss the 3 series coupes. Now that the 4 series has gran coupes ( basically a sedan one could argue) they are their own series. They should bring back 3 series coupes and I think they eventually will. 4 series are great but not as a replacement to the 3’s.

Nice video and nice car! I drive a 330i e90 automatic myself and been loving it! The naturally aspirated inline 6 is a piece of engine engineering art! I feel like BMW 'dumbed it down' with the new models with 4 cylinder turbos and turned towards Audis and stuff which isn't really that much into my liking. Sure I'll probably get the newer 3-series eventually when I let my current one go but I already know I'm gonna miss the inline 6...
I just love my E92 335d, the best looking, most attractive bmw has ever made, and that's my opinion😊

I just recently bought the 328 with facelift and I must say. i am extremely happy with everything about this car. BMW nailed it with all aspects of the car. Design, performance, interior styling. I went to a bmw dealer to test drive the M235i and the 440. Honestly, after driving both of them. I was very happy to get back in my 328i. The M235 had a lot of power but it wasn't refined like the 328. In the 328 everything was balanced and worked together. The m235 was just a all out screamer with no compromise. It was a fun car to drive but I don't think I could listen to that exhaust note all the time. The size was a major factor too. It felt as if you were in a box. Granted I know it was designed to replace the 1 series.
The 428 was roomier but it was very top heavy and lacked power. There was a lot of turbo lag too. i didn't get a chance to test drive the 6 cylinder but from feeling all the weight that was on that car I know it wouldn't make much of a difference. There is the design too. I am sure most people will agree that the design of the new 4 series cars are not attractive at all. I really don't know what to make of the design. Not sure which direction BMW was planning on taking with this line and you can see that in the design. interior wasn't that impressive too. didn't like the design of the dash board or the way it felt when you sit in it.
I remember when BMW designed cars that as soon as you see them or sit in them, the first thing that came to your mind was "I have to have one of those". The out going 3 series is one of those cars. the minute you see one it melts on you. then when you sit in it. it felt as if bmw designed this especially for you.
I have been a bmw fan for 35 years and I must say. They dropped the ball with this one.
Well, very interesting... Isn't the 328 a two litre? that uses 100 gallons of fuel and doesn't go very fast like the old one in the 90s?
Interesting about the note of the exhaust. Hence I wont buy 981 or a golf r - it would get wearing on days when you are in it alot.
I did prefer the 235 to drive than any other small bmw... I was actually quite astonished particularly at the steering.

Did I say that? I am sure I wanted to. I think I left it out for the sake of car lending early on. Its a massive shame.
I have a 535d which is not very nice to drive now I have had it for a year. Heavy steering and leather is not v lux.. However at night... and you see those lovely maps and the orange hue, its nice.
I dont think drop the ball. I think business plan change / amend / update but when customers start noticing - they will probably change it back. Case in point 2 series tourer. Nice place to sit!

I just gonna bought a 330 D Xdrive LCI, the same you have but with LHD, Black exterior and interior. I dream owning this car from sooooo long, and i think i'm gonna keep it... E92 is a car that make me crazy, and BMW never gonna make a more beautiful car ever... 4 serie look so much "thiner" and more "casual car you see everywhere"...
