As previously stated he was eating popcorn, which contains water and he was drinking butter to try and make up for the lack of water. There is real feasibility of him surviving in there for a very long time. It really depends on the person as different people's bodies handle stuff differently. A lot of health issues sooner or later will hit him like a truck with his poor quality of food and substitution of water but he's hitting a month of survival rather easily. Very bloated and unhealthy but he'd stll be alive. I think what's really gonna hold him back won't be his diet, but instead the quality of life and lack of human interaction might drive him insane. He loses appetite and stops then he dies.
