In fact, only the residents of St. Andrews have played golf for a longer continuous stretch on the same piece of land. Widely acclaimed for its handful of “template” holes and features-Pit, Redan, and the first Biarritz green-North Berwick (West) has inspired, and continues to inspire, course architects and designers from all over the world, offering a mixture of drama, eccentricity, and fun to all of those who get to play this links. And perched on the coast just 23 miles from Edinburgh, the vibrant golfing community of North Berwick is clearly embodied by the four clubs who share this world-famous links: North Berwick, North Berwick Ladies, Tantallon, and Bass Rock.
In this short video, we look at five things you may not know about this world-famous links.
What a brilliant place to spend a day. If there was ever a place that I would never tire of playing, it is North Berwick.

Thanks 🙏
Some friends and I have our Scotland trip booked for July 2022. I am really looking forward to North Berwick. You guys deserve so many more subscribers. Keep up the great content and they will subscribe!!
North Berwick and North Berwick ladies are the same golf club and have been for some time. The men’s and ladies club joined creating The North Berwick Golf Club. So the course is only shared by three clubs
👍
No place on Earth can rival the East Lothian Golf Coast
Cradle of golf
The four clubs is correct - but not the right ones. North Berwick Ladies merged into North Berwick some years ago. You currently have North Berwick, Tantallon, Bass Rock, and West Links Juniors.
Ssst. Please stop using Finegan's books. Hit it on the beach and on a silver mercedes at the last. My favorite course, Redan is great, the wall is great and the view is the best.
Such an epic place
