Yup ! Those are the best looking CGI lions ever made. I mean, I’ve seen them all : Narnia, Lion King 2019, Night at the Museum, Rogue, I am Legend, Proiij, etc. But this is beyond all of them. Jaw dropping !
Oh for sure, I couldn’t tell if they were real or not at first, they have used Kevin Richardson or a famous lion tamer for this scene, just to show that stuff like this actually happens!!
@@jesseoliver6457 yes, very briefly. The scene where Will Smith was hunting a deer who was killed before him by a lioness followed by a male and a few cubs
I love how that lion just trots up to the guy, throws his paws on his shoulders, and starts rubbing his cheeks against his face. It reminds of that video of the lion Christian meeting the two men who raised him after a year... seems lots of cats have a similar way of expressing affection . I would be so honored to be this close to a wild animal, but a close bond like this with any kind of animal is all about respect and trust, on both sides, and it takes a long time and professional approach to get it.
I was thinking about Christian when I saw this scene told. When my dad and I watched this movie, he flipped out seeing this and I explained to him how there are lions that actually do hug humans like this and so I explained to him about Christian. I too would like to have a bond with a wild animal and be hugged and purred against him/her.
You know what's even more incredible? Most normal housecats don't greet their owners with THIS much affection. This is more akin to what dogs do. The standard housecat will maybe do a stretch, meow and rub against your legs.
@@luisvelez1952yes they have, I actually plan on working at my Zoo which is ranked 7th in the country. I was talking with the lion tamers cuz that’s what I plan on going into cuz I love lions, they said they spend all there time with them
When we respect nature, nature respects us. Compassion between man and animals like lions is possible if we treat them with the same kindness and love we should afford our fellow man and woman
I remember watching a video where a group of lions saved and protected a 12 year old girl from a group of men who was gonna make her a bride the lions stayed with her till police found her the lions just walked off didn't harm the girl this happened somewhere in Africa I think it happened either '04 or '05 I could be wrong on the years
When my dad and I watched this movie, he threw his hands up worried and slightly shouted "Whoa!" when the first lion ran up to Martin. But I could tell it was going to be a hug. My dad's face just showed he was in total shock watching the hug happen. I explained to him how I have seen this sort of thing with real lions and people. Like Christian the lion hugging his two men owners who haven't seen each other in a year. Or another video of a woman kissing a lion on the face, etc. It truly is amazing how someone can bond with a lion. You just need to make sure you've been with them since they were cubs and give them respect so they can learn to trust you.
At 1.08, he did the absolutely worst thing one can do in the presence of a pride of lions: he turned his back on them and started to walk away. Most efficient way to trigger the chase instinct.
He trusts the males of the pride because he raised them from cubs, so he feels safe enough to turn his back. Even if he didn't, he had a colleague there with a tranquilliser rifle there watching the lions the entire time.
I love when Kawe and Kuda🦁🦁 greet their adoptive father Martin 0:080:24 ❤💕but I feeling sorry for Nandi the Lioness 😢💔due to her injured paw shot by awful poachers 😡💔 and she was furious mood by snarling and hissing at Martin 0:50 and Kawe tell his adoptive father to back off. 1:03
It's a beautiful scene of the movie 🎥 Seeing this short, I also feel like hugging such big and beautiful lions with love and friendship in reality! 🦁 Although I also know that to do this, I would have to raise a tiny lion cubs from childhood with love and care, like my own baby! 🤭
I'm not sure if I should say that these wild animals also have something called emotions like humans? That lion showed gratitude and closeness to the person who raised it since childhood. There are also such cases in real life. Or is that feeling still just called "instinct"?
All animals have emotions, it's just that instincts take control alooooot more often. But yes they do show love, Lions are social animals if you've raised them since they were young then they will show you love and affection the same way they would treat members of their prides which are mostly made up of a family, so as long as they know you and recognize you then you are a member of their pride but you still have to tread carefully since they have social rules that you need to follow and rule number one when it comes to any Felinae or Panthera is never ever turn ur back on them, since that could trigger their hunting instincts since they are ambush predators so they will always go for the prey when they know you don't see em and ur neck is the best and quickest way to be killed, since you'll pass out and then die
Look up Kevin Richardson & Dean Schneider on UA-cam. They literally post videos of them everyday doing this lol and not only with lions, they do it with hyenas, panthers, wild dogs. To have this type of bond tho you have to be with them since there born and raise them, they basically looked at this guy in the movie and in real life as pride members or parents!!!
Gotta love how Nandi's mate shoves him back basically saying "Don't get close dad, she's pissed."
The cgi effects for the lions was great. Best I have seen since Aslan.

The lion adopted a friendship strategy instead of eating him, only for the reason that he confused him with Chuck Norris
