Semi-automatic alternative to the AR 10 for hunting - Browning BAR Hells Canyon Speed

If you're looking for an alternative to the AR 10 platform for a semi-automatic hunting rifle then check out the Browning BAR rifles. They have several different models. In this video we look at the hells canyon speed model in 7mm Remington Magnum. The Browning has a more traditional look and feel. I find the models without a box magazine to be my favorites. They carry easier and are lighter than most AR10 rifles. Also with a barrel in the 22 to 24 inch range they get more velocity out of the cartridge. They come in more standard hunting calibers like 243, 7mm-08, 270, 30-06, 7mm rem mag, and even 300 win mag.
